• Hi Fran, the WDTA50SAHZ features Heat Dry (with optional Extended Dry to add additional Heat Dry time to the cycle for even better drying performance. You can choose to not use any additional heat, just leave the Heat Dry option off to air dry if you prefer. We suggest you still use rinse aid with any cycle

• There is not an air dry option that I have seen. My old dishwasher had one and I liked it.
