This dishwasher is very quiet. You will hardly know it is running.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.As long as the unit is under the counter and cabinets are on either side, it is very quiet. A plinth (kickplate) is recommended in front of the unit so it dampers the motor sounds.

I was concerned about the noise, too, but it's quiet than our old dishwasher that was over 20 years old. After 2 weeks, we hardly notice when it's running. There's also a 1-hour wash cycle, which shortens how long it runs. There are quieter dishwashers, but we needed one that did not have a handle. I'm happy with this one.
