A:Answer The controls for this are along the top edge of the door. My dishwasher is white, but the controls are against a black background which tends to show smudges and fingerprints. If I could change anything about this dishwasher, I would make the control panel the same color as the rest instead of a contrasting black on a white dishwasher. The pocket handle is just a recessed door handle so no towel bar type handle along the front of the unit. I wanted a smooth front because I hate handles that stick out, especially on cabinets and doors, which catch on things.
