• If you are referring to the "container" at the top of the refrigerator on the right side, it is the water filter.

• Are you referring to the one on the inside of the left door? If so, that is where the ice goes thru from the ice maker to the dispenser on the front of the left door.

• Are you talking about on the left door? There is the hole where the ice is dispensed. Otherwise I am not sure what you are referring to.

• It goes above the whole of the ice dispenser in the left door (inside).

• If its on top inside , its the water filter cover, snaps in front.
