Whirlpool makes a butter dish compartment with front cover that fits this model . The part number is W10324760. I bought this refrigerator only after i found the butter compartment for it. This dish comes installed on a private label brand that whirlpool makes. It can only be ordered by this part number.and the parts system is set up where you can't find it any other way. MIne is on order. Hope this helps!

I bought the WRS588FIHV00 side by side and read the answers on here for dairy bin fitment, and bought the WPW10324760 and IT DOES NOT FIT. There is a bump out molded into the door now and it prevents that dairy bin from fitting. If you lower it down and try to install in a lower position, it barely catches the cleats and it's easy to bump and dislodge. I'm sure I could force it, but that bump out in the picture attached doesn't allow the bin to fit without modifications to the door or bin. I've called whirlpool and appliance parts places and this model fridge does not have a compatible dairy bin made for it nor could anyone suggest another model which fits. Bummer!

The part number referenced is for a part that is NOT designed or SANCTIONED BY WHIRLPOOL for this model refrigerator. Nor IS THIS PART NUMBER SHOWN ON THE CERTIFIED "PARTS LIST" FOR THIS MODEL REFRIGERATOR. This refrigerator was not designed to have a door mounted dairy compartment. I IGNORED THESE FACTS AND PURCHASED THIS DAIRY BIN, AND INSTALLED IT IN THE DOOR IN SPITE OF THESE FACTS. And 'YES" it fits, but THIS DAIRY BIN is a "sloppy-made" piece of junk. Firstly, this "dairy compartment" accessory has a lid that is hinged on two sides with a top that rolls over like a roll top desk. But, there is a huge "gap" where air gets inside the compartment FROM THE SEMI-OPEN CLOSED TOP, because the roll top only partly seals the compartment. And, there is a running gap on one side hinge that is twice as big as the running gap on the opposite side hinge. WHAT GOOD IS A DAIRY COMPARTMENT THAT DOES NOT "SEAL"?????? I returned this piece of junk dairy bin to Whirlpool for a complete refund including the postage I paid.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I just bough a WRS588FIHZ00 Whirlpool stainless side by side. Butter bin part # WPW10324760 came with it. It does NOT fit in the top right door. There are 2 square nubs on each side and they do not mate with the dish. I believe Whirlpool makes a private label model and the butter dish fits that model. But again the 760 butter bin does NOT fit the Z00 frig. I attached two pics. First one is a shot looking at the inside of the frig door and you can see the square nubs. Second pic is a side shot of the butter bin and you can see the drop down notch on the side. It is meant to fit on a bracket not on the nubs on the door. We just went to Target and bought a hard clear plastic bin with a lid and use it for our butter bin.

I entered my model wrs588fihw and the part number above, Whirlpool site says they are not compatible!. The part came in today Wed July 24 while watching Mueller testimony! I have white Whirlpool and the part matches perfectly and fits. Perfecly also. Everything Peachy in SE Georgia!
