Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Even though it has two Water Level settings, the "Auto Sensing" setting does not sense load size. It automatically fills the machine with 22 gallons, regardless of load size. The "Deep Water Wash" setting fills the machine with 26 gallons. If you don't put any clothes in the machine it will still fill to 22 gallons. A call to the Whirlpool tech service will confirm this information. This Auto Sensing feature is misleading at best. From my experience with owning this machine, in reference to your question, is that once the settings are chosen, you cannot select the 26 gallon option after having selected the 22 gallon option. You have to start over.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The auto-sensing mode will add more water if you add more items to the wash - you can also just run on full fill mode that fills the entire washer no matter how large or small a load of laundry
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.this washer has a sensor on it so if you start the load and you need to put more in it it will sense how much is in there so it only fills accordingly
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Rick, the newer model washers has sensors that automatically fills due to the amount of clothes in a load. We hope you find this information helpful. Thank you
