A:Answer It makes noise. I had is running in my living room prior to installing it in a kitchen cabinet. I could hear it several rooms away. Its a higher pitch noise simmilar to a key cutting machine, not that loud just trying to describe the pitch, Dont notice it as much since it got installed in the cabinet. Also doesn't hold wide bottles, like champagne, very well. The price and size was why i bought it. Looks better than other 15inch models in this price range.
