• A:Answer Hi Inthemarket, ideal cookware should have a flat bottom, straight sides, and awell-fitting lid, and the material should be of medium-to-heavy thickness. Rough finishes may scratch the cooktop. Aluminum and copper may be used as a core or base in cookware. However, when used as a base, they can leave permanent marks on the surfaces.

Q: QuestionDOES THIS RANGE HAVE THE ABILITY TO BE RAISED OR LOWERED THRU ADJUSTING WHEELS? I'M INSTALLING IN AN EAT IN ISLAND NOT AGAINST A WALL AND AM CONCERNED IF THE TOP REAR OF THE RANGE WILL STICK OUT OVER THE GRANITE TOO MUCH? HOW IS IT FINISHED IN THAT AREA?

Q: QuestionDo I have to have an outside vent installed

• A:Answer We are installing an outside vent but we are remodeling our kitchen. While researching vents I discovered that new vents do a very good job at recycling air due to more effective filters. Had I learned this sooner I probably would have not vented to the outside. The vent hasn't been installed yet and we have been using this range without one for several weeks. So, no you do not need an outside vent.

Q: QuestionRoasting at 450 I noticed lots of heat escaping from the back left. Its against a tile wall with a short granite counter overhang above. This is the first time I've noticed moisture and heat building up on the tile + burning the granite. Is this normal?
