“When is Sandy automatic pump, does it drain the entire bucket each time it goes on”

• When you set it to pump, the removable bucket is not used to store water. The water collects before the bucket and triggers the pump when enough accumulates. Works like the pump for a central air conditioner except inside the dehumidifier cabinet.

• Don't know about Sandy. The pump is connected to an internal sump and seems to bypass the bucket.
