Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I figured it out. You just press and hold the "Load&Hold" button for 3 seconds to PreSoak...it says it right there beneath the "Hold&Go" button. I see that's how plenty other extra features are activated as well by doing the same to other buttons that are next to the "Hold&Go" button. Sorry Whirlpool Gods, this is all new to me. Just did my 1st load. Tip for newbies: when using the single dispenser for detergent be sure to disable the "Load&Go" option by pressing the button above I'm referring to like the instructions say or you'll find out the alternative LOOOONG way to presoaking like I did from not following that instruction. I did the whole cycle with the "Load&Go" lit with detergent in the single dispenser and none in bulk dispenser, but oddly enough the detergent I had put in the single dispenser was gone at the end of the cycle and the clothes seemed like they never got completely wet when the cycle was complete. SCARY. Also I had to stop the cycle myself because when the timer was down to 1 minute left because it continued to spin for what seemed like 5-10 minutes while reading 1 minute left until I stopped it myself. SCARY! I started all over making sure to disable the "Load&Go" feature and also selected the PreSoak option since the clothes were still practically dry after the 1st 55min (turned 1hr since it never stopped) cycle. Pray for me folks, clothes are looking like they are getting wetter from using the PreSoak option but that's using more water and sets the cycle time to 1hr and 33 mins when use it, so hoping I dont have to use it every time just to get clothes wet. Also hoping the cycle ends on its own this time around. Wish me luck. I'll be sure to leave my official review next week after I've done a few more loads...odd though how some parts of clothes still look dry even 40 mins into this 1hr33min 2nd cycle even with the presoak option selected. This cant be life. Not seeing any detergent/suds 55 min into this cycle either...didnt see much on the 1st fluke cycle (of my doing) either though the dispenser was empty when it finished. I have so much to learn about these new very expensive yet seemingly underwhelming machines compared to much older yet more efficient and longer lasting models that got the job done and in half the time. 70 mins in and still no suds btw. Will likely be calling whirlpool and the geek squad to see if my expectations are just to high for the times we live in now and what I purchased. SCARY. Cant wait to do a small test at the end of this cycle, if I still smell my deodorant in the arm pits of my top I'll know I'm in trouble.
