QuestionYour Q and A on this model answers a question and says this dryer requires a vent. However, Whirpool's own website states this is a ventless dryer. Can you clarify and fix the other response if incorrect?

- Answer Hi Brian, this particular Dryer does not require the traditional venting of regular electric Dryers. Designed to fit a 33" installation depth and with ventless technology, this closet-depth dryer can be installed virtually anywhere. We hope this helps!

QuestionAssuming it meets required specs, is there any issue using the washer's drain for this dryer along with washer? Or does it have to be a separate drain?

- Answer I have been using the same drain and there are no issues that I am aware of. The end of the dryer drain tube is several inches of small copper tubing, making it easy to slide it into the existing washer drain along side the normal washer drain tube.

QuestionAlthough the dryer is next to a washer, there are built-in drawers in between so the hose is too short. Is there a longer hose I can buy? If not, is there an adapter that will allow me to use a washer hose to extend the hose that came with the dryer?

- Answer Hi, for this Dryer draining hose, the threaded end is about 1" and the other end is approximately 1/3" for the Washer WFW5620HW we suggest having a look at the installation documents, as there are some different drain hoses available. If this had been a unit with a Steam Feature there would be, however this one does not.
