We have the Frigedair refrigerator with the water in the door. We have found that we don’t have to replace it right away when it tells you to and the water still tastes good. So we go at least 6 months or probably a little longer before we change the filter
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My Whirlpool fridge/freezer has a light that changes and tells me when it’s time to change the filter. Don’t know if your Maytag has this option. But it’s usually around 6-8 months.
