When my father-in-law was in the hospital they provided him with this device using headphones. So I am assuming that they cleaned it between patients and that the foam over the speaker is washable? We quick bought one for him to use when he came home. He likes the earbud better than the headphones.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You could use it for multiple patients (obviously, not at the same time!) but I would think you would want each person to have their own headset/earplugs. For cleaning, I guess you would just wipe it down with sanitizing wipes? This hasn't been an issue for us.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The headset is plastic, and easily cleaned. The earpads are the only concern if you need things to be sterile. You could probably get disposable ones. However, my dads memory care facility uses the one i got for multiple residents. They leave it on the medcart. It works very well; the memory care patients are unable to use or keep track of hearing aids.
