The home version is kind of like their basic os system, the pro version offers way more- if your a hardcore gamer or multi-tasker you want to go with the pro version. If you just diddle around on the computer FB, youtube, etc. the home version is fine.

You can RDC out to other computers, but not into it. With Windows 10 Pro you can RDC both out of and into Windows 10.

It also makes sharing drives/folders much easier in a NON-domain network. But the main reason is domain membership and management.
