“How does the WINIX 5300-2 differ from the 5500-2 other than the price? I don't see an obvious difference from the BB descriptions. It would be helpful if Best Buy included the manufacturer's info for the air purifier's they carry to help the customer.”

Hello, the difference between the Winix 5300-2 and 5500-2 is mainly the filtration. The Winix 5300-2 comes with 4 carbon filter sheets that need to be replaced every 3 months and the 5500-2 comes with an advanced odor control filter that we recommend washing every 3 months. Both units are equipped with a true HEPA filter and pre-filter!
