That description has some really cool features. But you don’t have to have a subscription. The cameras still have cool features without it. But If you don’t have a subscription, I highly recommend you get a high gigabyte SD card so you can play back all of the video and so forth.

You can subscribe if you'd like to gain extra features such as People, vehicle, package detection as well as cloud recording capabilities. Otherwise, if you insert an SD card into the camera, you can record to it without having to pay for a sub.

Using a microSD card with your camera gives you the ability to record continuous footage and recorded events directly to your local microSD card. We also have Cam Plus, which is an upgrade for Wyze Cam devices that adds Person Detection to your Complete Motion Capture videos. With this service, you'll be able to record full-length videos, receive real-time alerts when people are detected, and filter all of your video clips with people in them.
