Q: QuestionDoes this send video to an app for an Android phone? Is there cloud storage of video? What would that cost per month? camera detects people, pets, packages, etc?. Can I prevent it from notifying me for every rabbit or a car that goes down the street?

• A:Answer Hi there, the Wyze Cam Floodlight comes with a Wyze v3 camera in which it will be the one that records event videos and you can also view livestream using the camera through the Wyze app. Event recordings are saved through the cloud and/or through a micro SD card. With detecting people, pets, packages and more, this will need a Cam Plus subscription. • A:Answer you can do it from the app. I dont think it would work with a switch though. the way it wires up leads me to believe its all or nothing switch wise. it even comes with little stickers to put on your switch plate that say not to turn it off.

Q: QuestionThis says it is available for installation, but it shows two bare wires at the back. Is this low voltage? Doesn't this by law (most if not all states) require the homeowner or a licensed electrician to install?

• A:Answer Though I have no idea why Wyze posted the response they did, I did contact their customer service hotline, and they confirmed that this does Floodlight Home Security Camera does in fact require an electrician to install. While Best Buy's website shows installation is available (and as a Total Tech Member, it says installation is included as part of my membership), this is likely not the case. I doubt many Geek Squad associates are also licensed electricians. I recommend triple verifying before purchasing this product.
