Does this work on a Mac Pro? null

It depends on which model Mac Pro you are referring to. The "cheese grater" (Mac Pro's 1,1 - 5,1) have PCI slots and should support this card, depending on which version of the Mac OS you are running. I think the other responder was referring to the "trashcan" newer Mac Pro models (6,1) which are proprietary.

No - the Mac Pro uses a proprietary connect for its graphics cards not your usual PCIe slot.
