Do you need a home WiFi to talk to the lock remotely? null

Yes the lock needs to connect to your home wifi for you to control from anywhere

Honestly I would not recommend this device, the instruction are horrible and customer service is non-existing. I still have not hooked it up to my network which has existing smart locks.
