QuestionDoes this hook up via auxiliary cord? I have a projector and currently have a less expensive sound bar and looking to upgrade and I don’t want to mess with my set up already have. So would just like to hook to the wall and plug in the auxiliary cable

QuestionTv does not have arc so I connected with optical. Everything works great however when i switch from Roku, connected with hdmi, back to tv the sound is off and has to turn back on by pressing tv button. Can this be fixed? Should i connect with hdmi?

QuestionThe TV is currently running via AppleTV and I am using the newer AppleTV remote to control the on/off and volume functions thereby using one remote for all tv functions currently. If I purchase the Yamaha YAS 109 can I still use one remote?

QuestionEvery so often the audio will cut out for about a second and then will come back on. This doesn't happen with any consistency, but it does happen several times during the course of a movie. Any idea on what's causing this?

QuestionCan this be controlled with Alexa app (iOS) to enable pairing and use within an existing Alexa network, I.e., have several existing Amazon Echo speakers throughout my house and would look to add this soundbar when playing music on the “everywhere” group?

- Answer I was able to add mine to my "everywhere group" but then it shows an error as far as playback. I think it is supposed to work but so far mine has not. The error given is that it is not on the same network...which it is.

- Answer Sure thing! All sound bars should be able to be wall mounted. Visit the official Yamaha website before purchase though, it should have info about it.

QuestionTwo questions: 1) Can the Yas-109 be attached to bottom of a tv? 2) When using a wall-mounted tv on swing arm, is it important for good sound that the sound bar be attached to the tv and move with the swing of tv?

- Answer I see another purchaser said "It will require holes drilled into the soundbar" Don't drill into the soundbar! There are mounting slots on its bottom, about 8" from each end. Tape the mounting template to the wall (leveled), mark drill-hole locations on the WALL, remove the template & drill holes in the WALL. Attach mounting hardware (not included) securely to the wall, using the holes you drilled. Align the factory made slots on the bottom of the soundbar to the heads of mounting brackets you just attached to the wall. The soundbar should drop less than half an inch on the bracket heads so it doesn't pull straight off. To remove the soundbar from the wall brackets, lift it while pulling towards you as you lift. It should hang and remove pretty easily.

- Answer There is no built-in facility for a wireless woofer. You will need an RF wireless adapter for the soundbar and a matching one for the subwoofer input.
