• Speakers are all about personal preference, I prefer and bought the Bose 301s, the Klipsch R-15M sounded a little too bright. Listen for yourself to decide.

• As far as which ones are the best, that is a matter of opinion. I have this receiver and I run my Polk Audio Monitor 40 Series II bookshelf speakers with it. It sounds great to me. Those bookshelf speakers are discontinued, but you can still find them if you search for them. As long as you go with an 8ohm or higher speaker you should be fine.
