• Yes you can via HDMI. You also get 4K quality picture via the receiver to your 4K TV.

• If your Apple TV 4K has any connection available labeled "audio out", sure. Like most receivers, you can connect your TV output to either an HDMI, Optical, or RCA receiver input.
