On the back of the unit there are connections marked SUBWOOFER. This unit can connect up to two subwoofers. You need to use a subwoofer with a built in amplifier. I also appears that you can use a wireless subwoofer. More information can be found in the condensed manual that came with the unit or the complete manual available on Yamaha's web site.
