- Answer There's at least two practical solutions. Place "lifters," like those used on beds or washing machines on the coasters. Or, find yourself an ottoman.

Questionwhat is the material or the legs? If metal, how are they treated? powered coated? will they rust easy in open air?

- Answer The legs look to be black enameled metal poles. Anything can rust but, if good care is taken, including keeping them scratch free etc. they should be fine and dandy!
