I share a related issue and solution. Related issue… with the Zagg 9.7” folio,… … in Notes, there would be a bold yellow border on the left list of notes or on the right note… … in Numbers, there would be a bold green border around the spreadsheets… … and the arrow keys did not move the cursor for typing but looked to do something else I just could not figure out enough to describe it Thanks to this page, I went back into Settings / Accessibility / Keyboard one more time, and I found Related Soltion: Hardware Keyboards Full Keyboard Access Turning this off has the keyboard working without the bold borders, and with the arrow keys moving the cursor as expected. Thank you to this group for helping me find this!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.In Settings go to Accessibility and then Keyboard and turn off Key Repeat. This solved my issue with the space bar and delete key automatically repeating without control on a Zagg keyboard paired to iPad 5 2017. It may also help turning off Full Keyboard Access.

She said to go to settings, bluetooth,click on the Zagg keyboard to the right on the "i" and then click on "forget this device." Reboot iPad. Go back to settings, bluetooth, turn on the Zagg keyboard and then press and hold the connect button 5 seconds on the keyboard. The ipad found the keyboard and a popup asks you to enter a 4-digit number and press enter. It worked! Thanks Zagg for saving me $60!
