When looking directly at the screen it doesn’t appear dark at all. Only when you tilt or move the screen away is when the screen gets really dark.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This screen protector gives great visibility straight on and up to about 5 degrees off axis viewing. There’s no noticeable darkening of the screen. It works great for privacy. I’ve often been at trade shows sending materials to customers from my phone and they comment my phone isn’t on because the screen looks black to bystanders. It’s a great screen protector!
