No, this is a clear glass screen protector similar to the glossy finish LCD screens that you can get installed on computers when you buy them straight from the manufacture. The no glare zags or a matte finish screen protector that is similar to the matte finish LCD screens you can also get on computers as well. Matte finish antiglare screens are typically for individuals who have problems with glare due to vision impairment or vision preferences. No screen distortion with this screen protector.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I HAVE NOT A CLUE. I CAN TELL YOU THAT IN THE YEARS I HAVE HAD ANY SHIELD INSTALLED I HAVE NEVER HAD GRAINY ISSUES. MAYBE THE QUALITY OF THE INSTALLATION WAS CONTRIBUTING TO THE PROBLEM, BUT IF YOU HAD IT DONE AT THE STORE, YOU SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THE PROBLEM BEFORE YOU LEFT.

Please try again later.No this screen protector will not make your screen look grainy however I would not recommend you purchase it as mine has already shattered after accidentally dropping my phone once on linoleum floor. Top it off it was not facing downward on screen when it fell. Too pricey for it not to do its job.
