there is no warranty on the device you are protecting. the warranty is on the screen. It is supposed to protect the screen of your phone from scratches etc. A plus is that if you do break your screen it also prevents the glass from going in your pocket or wherever by sticking to the protector (I can vouch for this)

The box on my screen protector said "lifetime guarantee "/replacement for my Tempered Glass screen protector and one day I pull my phone out of my purse and POOF!...screen protector has a crack all the way threw it from end to end! I contacted Zagg..they changed me $6.95 to send a new one!! That was 2 months ago and I have yet to receive it!! You're better off buying screen protectors off eBay! :(

Mine developed chips along the edges and cracks across the screen from the chips in six weeks of light use.

You probably already picked something by now but I have used Zagg on all my devices for years now and have only replaced 1 and didn't have any questions or issues getting it replaced. They cost more but worth it.
