- Answer You simply pull them apart. The instructions explicitly demonstrate the best approach but there is nothing in the way of cables to disconnect.

QuestionI just purchased this keyboard & am trying to set it up but each time I push the on button (that lights up green) it automatically turns red, which I assume is turned off. Do I need to charge the keyboard initially & how long will it take to full charge?

- Answer After further investigation, I determined that the green light does not stay on, even when powered on, which I think is really weird. I couldn't get mine to connect for the longest time, then I finally figured out that you have to hold down the bluetooth key on the keyboard for about 5 seconds while your ipad searches for it. After I did that, it finally paired. The quick start guide provided with the product isn't very intuitive. After I downloaded the instruction manual from their website, it clearly explained that the green light won't stay on, and to hold down bluetooth key to pair. Why on earth they chose not to include these two tips in the quick start guide makes no sense to me.
