I believe the little instruction "booklet" that came with the keyboard explains what to do quite well. But in simple terms, you charge the keyboard, then turn it on, pair it via the Connect button on the iPad and in your iPad Bluetooth settings (go to the Settings App and to Bluetooth and make sure the ZAGG keyboard is listed, and then tap on the ZAGG Folio Keyboard where you see it listed in Settings). If it doesn't connect at first, try turning the keyboard off and then back on. If all else fails, find someone else to help you who has done it with any keyboard or any other device. The process is always pretty much the same and straightforward. Good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to charge it first as it is plugged into your computer and then their are simple instructions on how to sync it with your Ipad. If I can do it then anyone can.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Settings/Bluetooth (On)/Zaggkeys Folio (connect) Charge the keyboard first. Then go to Settings/Bluetooth to discover the device. Press the reset button on the device (right side) to discover. Type on the keyboard and it should connect to the bluetooth.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Turn on bluetooth on the iPad, then turn on keyboard and press the connect button. If it asks for a code, it is something like "0000" or "9999". I can't remember if the code is 4 or 6 digits. Some of the newer ones do not ask for the code.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Make sure it's charged up, turn it on, hit the bluetooth sync button. Turn your bluetooth off, then on again. It should then recognize the Zaggs Folio Keyboard. Click on it to connect. Double tap the top left button...the keyboard homescreen button...to verify connection.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. After a couple of fits and starts, I figured out that I saved time by turning Bluetooth of and back on at the iPad's settings. Press the keyboard's sync button (look for the flashing Caps Lock button), then the ZaggKeys Folio connection, and in just a sec you'll be good to go. After that, the keyboard usually stays synced unless I close/turn off the iPad.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It simply connects via bluetooth. So as soon as you pair them, they connect with each other and you are ready to start using it. Very helpful tool since you get half of the screen back once you start using it. And since it holds the iPad up, it feels more like a touch screen laptop than just a pad.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is Bluetooth ready but you have to sync it to your iPad.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need to pair it with your iPad. Just below the case power switch on the Zagg is a pairing button. Open your settings on your iPad and choose the bluetooth from the menu. Press and hold the pairing button until it propogates onto your Bluetooth device list. Select this device and it should let the keyboard be used with your iPad. When it works it is great. I have found the iPad needs to be powered off and back on when it goes I to sleep mode. Frustrating, but this case is sturdy and closes securely vs the Logitech that seemed to have a design flaw in this next generation of iPads.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I use onscreen key pad.
