Q: QuestionHello, I just purchased a 36” dual fuel range. Is the oven fan supposed to be so loud when baking? It constantly runs. Can it be shut off?

Q: QuestionHello- we have a 48” zline dual range and the oven seems to constantly run a fan- no matter what setting- even on low bale or high bake- it is relatively loud. Is this normal? Thank ypu

• A:Answer Hi. We had the same reaction last year when we bought ours. It takes some getting used to, and thought it was malfunctioning and went round and round with Zline… but it turns out it is “normal” as there are laws now about cooling fans being mandatory to protect the electronics between your burners and the oven, and keeping the exterior from being to hot to the touch. As soon as we are done cooking we turn the oven off and crack the door to help it cool off and stop blowing faster. On a happier note, it cooks food SO well, and the burners are amazing! Hope that helps!

Q: QuestionIs the dual fuel 30” range suppose to blow such hot air out of the front right onto the oven handle while the (electric) oven is on? It doesn’t matter the heating position (bake, convection, etc).

• A:Answer It is soooo loud!! I don’t doubt its damaging my hearing bc of it’s pitch/decibel. It drives me insane!! We have an open concept house so we can’t even enjoy a quiet meal at the dinner table until the fan turns off.

Q: QuestionWhere are ZLine ranges made? The clever copy lists offices in several states in the US and says that products are "designed" in the US and "shipped" from the US and some parts are Italian but nowhere do they say Made in the USA. China? Honesty please!
