  • QuestionI hear told that you cannot make sourdough bread with the BB-HAC10 and there is no recipe for it in the manual. Still, is there a cheat or something that will let you make sourdough ?

The Home Bakery Mini BB-HAC10 does not have a SOURDOUGH STARTER setting like our 2 lb. models and we have not tested any sourdough recipes in the Home Bakery Mini model.   • QuestionDoes this machine have a setting for whole wheat bread? Or spelt bread?

However there is a 100% whole wheat bread recipe that can be found in the Home Bakery Mini Breadmaker BB-HAC10 instruction manual. We have not developed a spelt bread recipe.   • QuestionDoes this breadmaker have a separate container to place so the yeast, so the yeast is released automatically during the mixing of the dough? Is is made in Japan?

    • Answer Thank you for your inquiry. The Home Bakery Mini Breadmaker BB-HAC10 does not have a compartment designed to hold and release the yeast. You would need to make a depression in the middle of the flour and sprinkle the yeast in, making sure the yeast does not touch any liquid. However, this model does not have a dedicated gluten-free setting. We have only officially tested the recipes in the provided recipe book or on our website, so we would not have exact measurements or suggestions to provide that would guarantee a successful outcome should you use your own gluten-free recipes or substitute the flour in our recipes for a gluten-free flour.
