Bought these for my dad to go along with a new laptop. He loves them! Very loud and no crackling whatsoever. The sub actually has a lot of boom to it as well, I'm amazed. This could actually serve as a decent surround sound system in a bedroom if needed even. Price point is excellent for what you're getting don't hesitate if you want more sound than the typical 2 speaker plus sub setup.

This product offer a good value, more than average quality for gaming/movie/music/entertainment home PC. At first, I'm skeptical because of the size of the speakers. But, once I hook em to my PC. Wow, the speaker & the subwoofer really can pack a punch. The only minus thing is the Logitech company itself. The customer service is sooooo bad! the worse of all companies that I've experienced with. Fortunately, I got this speakers from Best Buy! I have to swap this product. NO FUSS!. I have to swap it because I had some problems with the audio quality & the connectors (my first purchase)

My 15 year old likes the sound in them. The only bad part is the wires, but he likes to have music playing while he games.

This was a great purchase I used it on my TV to give it a little base .. It has just enough power to give a nice sound.

I was looking for surround sound speakers for a room but did not want to spend a fortune. Originally I thought I would spent $100-$200 for okay speakers, but I tested these out in the store and they sounded perfect for what I needed, so I ended up spending less than what I budgeted. I am very happy with the sound quality. I mainly use the speakers with my iPod and my computer. Works great for both.

I'm not a sound expert, but for the price this speaker system has great bass and a nice balance of sound with the various speakers. The volume gets extremely loud if you crank up the dial. I wanted a reasonable set of speakers for my various media systems (movies, music, games), and this gets the job done.

Easy hook up and decent sound. Very Good! Recommended for most people that like moderate loudness with good bass.

This system sounds really good. The low end response from the sub is very strong and punchy for how small it is. Overall sounds really nice except for a slight buzz that occurs only sometimes. Not bad enough to take it back by any means but just a heads up for people who wouldn't deal with that. I was shocked at how good this system sounds. Great price for the sound quality you get.

I thought i was going to be a hassle to setup but in all honesty it was very simple.The sound works very well also.

Great as a TV speaker alternative! Loud and crisp/powerful adjustable subwoofer for your individual taste. Movies and music sound great!

Very good sound and value. Easy to set up. I use in a small office and use for listening to iTunes from my Mac.

Can't go wrong if you want great sound. Adjustable bass level is good option. Great sound. Just as good as Bose

I've been reading and review for a months and trying to choose which surround sound would be fit for my room. It's a very enclosed area so not much space to place any large monitors so I came across Logitech which I know design and manufacture top of the line products that never fails me as a consumer. I heard the z623 and I was going to purchase but that purchase is still pending since I feel in love with these z506. These speakers are amazing and really amplifies gaming, movies and music, you can literally hear everything, its like being in a music studio.

First off, this is probably the best surround sound kit you can get for under $80 (usually runs from $65-$70). I'd even go so far as to say it even beats some $100 systems. It's perfect for gaming, watching movies and playing music. Fighting dragons in Skyrim and Star Destroyers flying across the screen in Star Wars full a room with tons of sound! The sub has a dial to balance the bass volume, but I tend to leave it a notch below max, I get no distortion from this. I typically have it set up with my desktop in my bedroom, but I've easily moved it into the living room and hooked it up to a tv, it takes both aux jacks and ac, so I can play just about anything through them. I've even hooked my Wii and 3DS to them, no problem. I would say these are ideal for rooms up to around 250, maybe 300 sq.ft. The rear speakers have really long cables so they can be placed behind where you are sitting. Obviously a proper surround system will beat these, but if you're desperate for good surround and don't have a lot of money, these should be the first to look at! I mean, these are intended as computer speakers, but they are good enough for tv use, and they definitely beat the little 5-10w speakers that are built into the these days.

For a small room, this system packs a big sound. Easy to set up. Easy as just taking it out of the box.

Speakers sound really good and were easy to hook up. They project well and are loud enough to annoy my roommates, mission accomplished.

I bought it a while back, and I love how loud it is, the bass is great! Does have a lot of wires but other than that it's a great product.

Great sound at an affordable price. I would recommend buying the 2 year replacement plan for $10 though just to be on the safe side.

Great speakers for typical use and great bass. Has a bass control knob if you prefer less bass.
