Not a whole lot of options

There aren't a whole lot of options for computer game pads, if you're trying to avoid the Microsoft brand. This is worth the money provided you can catch it on sale. There isn't very much finger room under the controller which gets annoying in a longer gaming session but the controller itself feels solid enough to throw against the wall a few times in fits of rage when you need to blame your sub-par gaming skills on your internet connection or out-of-date video card.

For what you're paying, this is a really great game pad. The d pad spins a little bit, the triggers are kind of awkward and the game pad is a little small but if you're just playing games casually, it definitely gets the job done. I have only had it for about a month with fairly light use so take that as you will

This is a good cheaper alternative for plug-and-play PC gaming controllers. It works and can be very versatile with its different input profiles (one for the default Windows input layout, another that can be user programmed), but be sure to read the manual on its specific features, namely DirectInput/XInput and the "Mode" button. I've only had an issue with the sticks. It's not that they don't work—they most certainly work—but rather they feel too different to me compared to what I'm used to (primarily the PS3 controller, secondarily the Xbox 360/Microsoft controller). The joystick button click (i.e. the "push in" button) requires a lot of actuation force in order for it to register in games, at least with the controller I received. It's such a pain to try to run in games Borderlands 2 using this controller because of this. The joysticks also feel looser in comparison to aforementioned controllers. Some may find this preferable, but I personally like a little more resistance in this regard.

For the Price this controller is amazing, a little hard to handle first, but later you get used to it, there's really not much to complain about, except the triggers which are a bit hard, but for $20 It's fine, I don't mind it much, Overall a very good Controller and I would recommend

Excellent for the price; the controller felt solid if not a little clunky. The design is not the most ergonomic around if you are used to the Playstation or XBOX experience as I was. I have switched to PC, however, after a long break and I do not enjoy keyboard navigation when playing shooters and RPGs, so I went on the hunt. I didn't want to spend a ton of money, so I gave this a try. There are a few little issues that you should expect for what you pay on this thing. The analog sticks are loose and the buttons are a little mushy. It is a wired controller. Games that were controller compatible though did all work fine with this pad, so if you are trying to get something on the cheap and love the console experience, then this controller will definitely get the job done. You just won't feel like a million bucks doing it.

great pc game pad for the price

I purchased this game pad on a whim since it was for sale some weeks back at best buy for 7.99 thru bestbuy online. I'll say that the pad performs as it should, no lag, driver issues (running on windows 10) and the feel is like that of a playstation controller with xbox buttons. For 8 bucks, pretty good deal. However, I do not understand why Best Buy wouldn't honor the price from their online store and match it in store. I had to purchase this on my phone (from which I showed one of the employees at best buy) to get the game pad at the sale price best buy was selling it for on their website. The reasons they said is that they didn't have any in stock which was complete BS since the store had them and I brought one up to the register. So I had to order the game pad from my phone, and went to another bestbuy to pick it up. SO 10/10 for the controller 1/10 for employees and in store policies (Store in Spring, TX. at I45). I would recommend this game pad to anyone looking for a cheap alternative to the more expensive ones if they don't mind less features (not wireless, no vibration etc.)

There's nothing special about this product, but it does what it's supposed to do and can be purchased for a reasonable price when on sale. There is one thing that I didn't realize that may be helpful for some. Need for Speed games on PC port in a strange way, and you will need to download x360 simulator. Additionally, there is a switch on the back of the control that can make the trigger buttons gradient of absolute. By "gradient", I mean the less or more you press them down, the less or more the effect is. Not knowing this, I found braking in Need for Speed to be almost non-existent until I realized I could flip the switch on back. By "absolute", I mean the button is detected as pressed or not-pressed, which works great.

So I bought this instead of one of the Xbox 360 or Xbox one controllers, mostly due to the cheaper price. The construction of the controller is pretty good. If you get angry at Dark Souls and slam it down though, the two pieces of plastic on the side can and will go flying. Not sure how much of that is the controllers fault, and how much is mine. I also have very long fingers and because of this I can't use the controller for very long. Where my middle fingers on each hand rest is just behind the plastic knob that houses the bumpers and triggers. Because of the length of my fingers quite a bit of pressure is applied to each finger between the controller and my hand. I will probably switch to something with either more room or where the slope is less steep allowing my fingers to rest elsewhere. I still use this currently but because of the eventual pain caused by the controller I don't use it for very long.

For the price, it's a solid controller. The buttons feel chunkier than what you would be on controllers with a more Xbox design. But that's not necessarily a bad thing except for maybe the triggers taking a little more effort to press down on. No rumble here, but I did find the switch on the back was useful for compatibility with some older games. The cable on the controller isn't detachable though, which will probably hurt the longevity of it overall.

This was a perfect replacement for an older model that I had. It works great with most steam games and even my emulators on a windows machine. Cheaper than an xbox controller but just as good for me. No rumble but I knew that going into it.

My favorite game pad is the Dualsense PS5 controller, but for PC this one is much cheaper, and works pretty much just as good. I wouldn't use any other game pad. You can freely switch between Direct Input and XInput so it works with 99% of games right out of the box, old or new.

Great buttons and joy sticks that feel great. They can take a beating and the cord has remained in great shape after much abuse. The weight is light which makes long gaming sessions less tiring. The only thing which isn't perfect are the right and left bumpers, and that's not to say they're bad. For the price, this odd looking controller is the best deal you can get. I haven't found anything outside of this and the wireless version within the same tier of quality for <$50. However if you are going to buy wireless it doesn't hurt to look at those $50 instead. Bluetooth is a worthwhile feature for anything wireless, but for wired this is the controller to get. It has no extra steps to set up on Linux, Windows, and Mac.

When I was looking for a PC game controller to play X-Box Pass on my laptop, all what came up by online searching cost more than $30. I almost gave up finding, but a search result of this controller came up by chance. This one was not listed as Compatible Controller for X-Box Pass on X-Box Pass homepage, but one review saying this works with PC games convinced me to buy this. This perfectly works on my laptop to play X-Box Pass. Make sure you switch the rear switch to X when you play X-Box Pass. If it is D position, X-Box Pass doesn't read this as Compatible Device.

...and therefore, it's amazing quality for a low price. My only complaint is that the triggers are a bit wonky to use. But this controller is an amazing product on its own, and even better if you can do some hardware mods to customize it. It can function as the best base for a custom controller that you can get, and if you mess it up, it's only $20 to get a new one. I've owned a Logitech gamepad in some form consistently for 10 years. They're amazing, they've always been amazing, and I see no reason why they won't continue to be amazing.

The Logitech F310 is a great investment if you're looking for a comfortable to use and durable controller for PC gaming. The controller is truly Plug and Play as when you plug the controller in the controller is ready for use. I was amazed by how very little effort was required on my part to get the controller working with my PC. I plugged the controller in, loaded my favorite game (Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn), and noticed that FFXIV recognized the controller and the controller did not even have to be calibrated to work properly. Overall, I give this controller a 5 out of 5 stars and would recommend this controller to anyone who is looking for a hassle free, wired, controller to use for PC gaming. ( ~.ø)b

Playing Steam Games - On My PC

I needed a gaming controller to play games downloaded from Steam @ http://store.steampowered.com/. Logitech F310 Gaming Pad Feels Good... Almost as weighted as a PS3 or XBOX 360, and it feels just fine. I was worried that the rubber edges would be cheap and peel away or start slipping, but it is solidly attached and the paddles and triggers feel fine too. Plugged it into the USB, and my Windows 8 picked it up right away. The price is about 1/2 of a Microsoft XBOX 360 controller for Windows. I can play first person shooter games on Steam that will use a controller. I also have a couple games that I had the OEM DVDs and wanted to start playing them again too.

at first, I was a bit worried due to the price , you know if you buy something cheap it will be cheap overall. NOT in this case, This controller is well built and is awesome in every detail. I have been thinking of seeing if it will work on my PS4 but, as of right now I just use it for my pc gaming. The controller response well and there is no delay in the controls. All the games I play it was as simple as plug and play. Highly recommend this product !!!

Bought this for my dad when he wanted one for his gaming pc after seeing my brother and I with similar controllers. He found that the shape of the controller was a bit small for his hands, as opposed to an Xbox or Steam controller, but did like that the button configuration was very similar to a PlayStation controller. All in all it is a nice wired controller at a very attractive price point.
