I can think of absolutely no drawbacks to purchasing this controller. The gamepad utilizes the comfortable and easily recognizable layout of the playstation controller, and delivers all the quality and response that one can expect from a long-standing leader in electronic technology like Logitech. From the simple plug and play set up to the quick response of the controls, this is the perfect gamepad for just about any game you can think of. Add to this the extreme affordability of this product and you get something that is almost impossible to find these days; an amazing deal that gives you MORE value than the price.
I would strongly recommend this game controller for gamers of every level. The only thing I have ever had anyone complain negatively about is that it has a USB interface instead of wireless, but honestly it has quicker response than any wireless PC controller with none of the buggy issues. This makes it a plus.

I've got a 10+ year Logitech Rumble Pad that's still going strong so I decided why not grab one of these revised ones to use with my Chromebook Pro. It didn't disappoint. Plugged it and got to gaming. I played an hour or so of evoland and not a single hiccup. No drivers, no reboot; it just works.
I had originally wanted to get the - dang it mind went blank - that bluetooth game controller they had, but for about 1/3 price dealing with a wire isn't so bad. Easily one of the better $20 purchases I've made.

I need a good spare controller while visiting fam and friends. I would prefer a PS4 controller, xbox 360, or and xbox one mainly because of the wireless features. But at $10 on sale you can beat that deal. It's responsive and fits nicely in your hands. And offers the best of both world for gamers who are used to both the configurations of and PS controller or 360 with the shape and the button layout

Good Basic Controller

This is a nice, cheap, basic controller. It doesn't do anything special but it's made by Logitech so it should last just about forever. I use it as a controller for my Raspberry Pi 2 that I use as an emulator for older games. It works perfectly for that and I haven't had any problems at all. I'm not sure I would buy this as a primary controller for PC gaming, but it is perfect for retro games.

This Logitech controller is the top controller with a decent price tag. I feel it is just as good, if not better then using an XBOXONE or XBOX plug and play kit. Save yourself the money and purchase this controller. I have several games that I have found issues trying to use an XboxOne controller with, then I purchased this controller and everyone of the games I retried with 100% success on them. (Referring to most Steam games)

Logitech F310 Gaming Pad - Blue/Black Review

The Logitech F310 Gaming Pad is a budget-friendly choice for gamers looking for a reliable, no-frills controller. While it may not offer the premium build quality or advanced features of high-end controllers, it definitely serves its purpose at a much more accessible price point.
Design & Comfort: The blue/black color scheme gives it a sleek, classic look, and its lightweight design makes it comfortable for long gaming sessions. The button layout mirrors that of an Xbox controller, which feels intuitive and familiar for most players. The D-pad is a bit stiff at first but breaks in over time.
Performance: The F310 connects via USB and works seamlessly on both Windows and Mac systems, which is a bonus for gamers who play across different platforms. It may lack features like vibration feedback or wireless connectivity, but its performance is smooth and reliable. The buttons are responsive, and the analog sticks are accurate for precise movements in various game genres.
Compatibility: One of the standout aspects is its compatibility with both newer and older games. With the XInput/DirectInput toggle switch on the back, it can easily adapt to different game configurations, making it a versatile option for a wide range of games.
Value for Money: At its price point, the Logitech F310 is hard to beat. It’s an excellent choice for casual gamers or those looking for a backup controller without breaking the bank. While it may not be the go-to choice for competitive or professional gaming, it delivers a solid gaming experience for the price.
Overall, if you’re looking for a dependable, no-nonsense controller that works well on Mac and Windows, the Logitech F310 is a great option to consider.

Plays the games you need it for

won some steam games to play and though I am used to playing my games on my computer keyboard, for these few games it was not a natural setup. Did the research for controllers. Started my research and ended my research on Best Buy's website. All the info I needed I found it the stats and reviews of Best Buy so why check anywhere else.
Though there were some bad reviews on this one I took the chance with this one that looked like would fit my needs. I plugged the controller in the usb port, windows 7 auto installed in seconds, brought up my games and everything was in sync. I had to relearn how to use this controller since it was similar to what i used to play with. I found that if I customized the buttons to where it was natural to me then it made it comfortable feel and easier to remember.
So the purchase, install, compatibility, customizing and feel was excellent. Any issues I had pointed to my ignorance that I solved with a loose learning curve.

I picked this up because I found my old PC copies of a few Tony Hawk titles and while my xbox controller was functional I've always felt these types of games were better suited for the playstation dual shock layout. This one was inexpensive, decently reviewed, and I have had good experiences with Logitech devices in the past. The buttons all have a good tactile feedback when you press them leaving no question that a button press did happen, the analog sticks have just the right amount of resistance and the only thing that would make them better would be a concave design to the head of the stick, the analog triggers are smooth but a little one the short side.
Now for the kicker... since this was purchased for Tony Hawk titles where a good responsive d-pad is crucial as direction controls affect which trick you do and hitting left or right plus the flip button is a simple kickflip or heelflip but having a dpad also register a press of the up or down makes it an angled press which is usually a flip trick that needs more air to pull off and accidentally doing a sal flip when you only had room for a kick or heel flip can mean the difference between a barely landed combo and a failed combo... and this d-pad has done this to me more times than I can count... controller manufacturers need to realize sony got it right with 4 completely isolated buttons for the d-pad
So one star knocked off for a d-pad that could easily be better..
Also the controller does not include vibration motors so if that is something you really want skip this one

Excellent controller to play console ports on PC

I got a game on the PC my son had been playing on a console, and the controls were unusable with keyboard mouse. I saw a deal on this, and I decided to order it. After having gone through lots of pains to get a console controller to work, this one was a breath of fresh air. I plugged it in, and a few seconds later, Win 8 had selected and installed the right drivers automatically. Everything I've tried it on works perfectly.

I haven't played a game requiring a game pad on my PC for years but one went on sale on Steam so I bought it only to find out my really old one wasn't compatible with win8/10. I checked my BB app to find it but the price in store was higher so the young lady at the register matched price. Its not as solid as an Xbox controller, but its also way cheaper.

This is just as good as more expensive controllers, including others by Logitech. It seamlessly works with Windows 10 games that support XBox360 or XBox one controllers. It also has a PS3/PS4 emulator mode with profiler software , but in Xbox mode you don't need it. It holds up to rigorous use. I am physocally challenged and find this controller easier to hold in my adaptive way then fancier models. Plus it is half the price.

I could get all fancy-smancy about force feedback, ergowhatnits and etc. But if you like a Playstation style controller, this thing works great. Does exactly what it is supposed to do with no surprises. Love it.. Works great. If you like the XBOX style controller, you may not like it as much. I have both PS/Xbox in the living room, so I can swing both ways, but PS style is my preference. And the fact I paid only $20.00, so much the better.. Great bang for the buck.

This controller is nothing special but it's not crap either. It's decent for the price. I got it because I didn't want to mess around with hacking my DualShock 4 into working with my PC. The DS4 feels better in my hand. This is a good controller for someone who just needs one every once in a while. If you game exclusively on a controller, get a nicer one.

This is my second time purchasing this product. My first one stopped working after about a year and a half, which upsets me that it lasted so little.. I didnt even use it that much. I bought it again because I don't have much money to spend and other same products are limited. But in all fairness, it works well w almost all the games I've played with it.

All in all for what you're getting for the price it's great. Doesn't require setting up anything depending on what games you have. Note that it doesn't vibrate and the trigger button area could be a bit more ergonomic and (could be just me but...) you will constantly mistake the mode button for SELECT... but other than that... can't complain :)

I bought this controller because I built my first computer and I didn't want to pay for the price tag of having the Microsoft name on it like they wanted you to do at Walmart. I must say that I am not disappointed at all because for how much this controller costed me it has been nothing but awesome. I was able to plug it right into my computer and then I was able to use it within a minute.
