An amazing wireless keyboard

This is a great keyboard for anyone who is looking for both wireless and a backlit keyboard. It uses an internal battery and charges from your PC using a micro USB cable. So far I have left it in the ON position most of the time and the battery finally needed charging for the first time since I opened it (I didn't charge it right out of the box) after about two weeks. Outstanding battery life.
The keyboard has secondary uses for the F keys that can be mapped to various shortcuts in the software. Pressing the FN key in addtion to one of the F keys will activate the secondary feature. There is also one dedicated shortcut key that defaults to the calculator but can also be mapped to something different.
The feel of the keys is perfect. They have just the right amount of travel distance and provide a good tactile feedback. The backlighting is also very nice, it even detects when you hand is over the keyboard and turns on the backlighting which is a very handy feature.
The USB stub reciver uses Logitech's latest technology which can connect up to 6 devices to the single reciver so you don't need to fill up your USB ports with a bunch of recivers.
This is one of Logitech's premium keyboards and it shows. Wireless, backlighting and a perfect feel to the keys makes this a great option for someone looking for a high end wireless keyboard.

If I could give it less than 1 star I would. They sent me a used keyboard. You can tell. The right back stand to hold up right side doesn't work the keyboard is dirty and the box was retaped. I will go somewhere else after i return this thing. And i cant even get it to type. It is BEST BUY because I have this same keyboard at work and it works perfectly. The rating poor is BEST BUY.

Gaming with a wireless keyboard

I needed a keyboard with a nhumber pad and that proved difficult to find. I p[aid way more than I wanted to, but it delievered excellent results. The backlight was just right, it clicks when you depress the keys and you can recharge it. I leave it plugged in most of time, but the added versatility of being able to place anywhere I want has proved more comfortable than having a wired one. My only gripes are the price being high and that it doesn't turn itself on when you type, it has a manual switch you have to throw. Other than that it has taking a lickin' and keeps on tickin'.

I absolutely love this keyboard! Keys are easy to see, battery life is great, and easy to set up and use. I have a $150.00 gaming keyboard, and I replaced it with this one, and I couldn't be happier. It's smaller, and I like the fact that I can set the brightness of the back lighting, and the back light will turn off after a few seconds to conserve battery life, and will immediately come back on before I touch the keys.
Awesome keyboard, and you can't beat it for the price.

Logitech has always produced very nice accessories for computing and gaming and this wireless keyboard is no exception.
The unit uses a USB nano receiver for communication with your device and is ideal for laptops and desktops. The receiver can stay in place without being vulnerable or catching on things. If you use your laptop on the go and then like to set up a home office environment with larger screen, full size keyboard, and standard mouse, the receiver can stay in your laptop full time and make the transition from home to on the go very easy.
To ensure that you don't have to permanently tie up too many USB ports for all your wireless devices, the new nano receivers and compatible devices use the Unifying technology which allows the use of one nano receiver for multiple devices. Basically, you can have one receiver work for both mouse and keyboard at the same time. Unfortunately, older Logitech mice, which I have several of, are not compatible with Unifying receivers so you will have to upgrade your mouse to take advantage of that. Still, if you have a limited number of USB ports on your device, Unifying technology is the way to go.
The back lit keys are the best part after considering the flawless wireless connectivity and performance. The keyboard automatically adjusts back light brightness based on ambient light levels so the back lighting is never too dim or bright for most conditions. When I connect the laptop to the HDTV, the wireless keyboard allows me to surf and control my laptop w/o having it on my lap. Coupled with a Logitech mouse, you can compute comfotably from your couch on your HDTV and do it in the dark. Great for late night video streaming and surfing on the big screen.
I could go on about the power conservation with auto back light sleep, the long battery life, and the no hassle plug and play functionality, but the review would never end. You can't go wrong with this keyboard. It is built solidly with superb fit and finish. This keyboard meets and exceeds the performance and value I've come to expect from Logitech.

Switched to this from another Logitech keyboard, the MK700MK710. This is so much nicer. Keys feel good to the touch. The back lighting is great - easy to see the keys if you need that. I keep it plugged in, but the wireless works great too. Even the sound of pressing the keys is pleasant. Only problems I have are that it is a little on the expensive side, and the battery life isn't as long as I would like. Battery life isn't a deal breaker since I never unplug it. I would buy it again.

The Logitech K800 is my first wireless keyboard, and I still yearn for a wired keyboard. But good value in wired keyboards is hard to find. This keyboard is nice to the touch and the keys have good tactile response. The base provides an adequate wrist support. Although it is a "standard" size, the keys feel a little too close together and I often hit the wrong key. (I have tiny hands!). Also, although it has legs to prop up the back, the legs could be just a little higher for proper keyboarding. The CapsLock key has a light to indicate when it's on, but the NumLock key does not. In Logitech's defense, the software does pop-up with a warning whenever the NumLock key is toggled. I love the illuminated keyboard, it turns on quickly when needed but is not intrusive. The keyboard has an easily accessible on/off switch but I've never had to turn it off. The keyboard holds its charge for well over a week with substantial use and it charges quickly with the included 6 foot USB cable. Overall, it took some getting used to but I'm not disappointed.

I was reluctant to spend that much at first and was shopping in 25 $ price category, but everything there was awful, i had to return some of them, so i decided to try a good product instead of cheap and was not disappointed.
It is conveniently flat so it does not stress my wrist,
It is wireless so i don't worry about the cord.
It is chargeable, so i don't have to worry about running out of batteries (so simple and obvious, to think of it)
It is backlighted so i don't have to worry much about lamps in the evening.
Extra buttons are just what i need most - mute/vol +/- and calc. More through the FN button, but i don't use that as much.
Buttons have the right balance of firmness to touch and will not make you wonder did you press the button or not. Sound they make is not loud but still a distinct typing sound.
1.5 months of usage so far and 10/10 would recommend.
The only thing i could name as cons is there is no "right-mouse-click" button, but that is so minor compared to benefits.

My keyboard is located in a lap drawer and lighting isn't the best. Makes it very easy for these old eyes to locate the keys even though I am a touch typist, I still have to search for a few keys and it helps to position my fingers to start. I really like the feature where the key board only lights when you put your hands over the keys. The additional functionality of the Function Keys are handy especially when checking the status of the rechargeable battery which has long life. There is a switch to turn off the keyboard if you want. It is wireless and does not come with a companion wireless mouse but I used the old keyboard USB port, so nothing was lost. The higher price was offset by it's functionality.

I bought this as a replacement for the exact same model that I killed with a poorly placed cup of coffee. It is easy to pair, it is wireless so it is easy to move where you need it, has an on/off switch to conserve power if you are away but I rarely use that since the charge lasts a long time. It is also easy to charge via included USB cable. My favorite feature is the backlight. I never could get used to typing without looking at the keyboard and I can use this in limited light with no problems.
My last one I had for 3 years and never had a problem until I killed it myself.

If you often use the computer with the lights off, this keyboard might be for you!
The backlight switches off after a couple seconds of usage, but it lights up again if you wave your hand above the keys - pretty darn cool. Would be nice to have an option to switch the backlight on permanently, or maybe increase the delay on it switching it off, but the fact that it's also wireless is EXTREMELY compelling. The wireless is so far absolutely perfect, AND you can keep using the keyboard when you plug it in to recharge its internal battery (extremely important!).
Love this keyboard.

I was concerned that with the Higher than normal price this Keyboard, that I would get it and feel like a made a mistake, but I am very pleased with my purchase. I got it at the Sale price of 69.99, ( I was Really struggling with paying that much..... )
This is a great keyboard, if your main desire is a Backlit keyboard.
It has a sensor ( little dot that's in the upper right ) that can tell movement , and that makes the keyboard lights wake up from sleep (save battery status )
Pros: Backlit Keyboard, that can be turned off / and has different levels of brightness.
Wireless Keyboard ( you do have to charge it like a cell phone, but how else would you power a wireless device... )
The Lights Turn off to save battery when you hands are not near keyboard....
Runs with just putting in the USB, and turning on keyboard, I did Not have to Install 'SETPOINT' Software /// ( setpoint software from Logitech causes Pinterest to crash IE 11 at least it does for me.... )
Cons: The Price, I would feel I make a good Money Choice, if was around $30 to $40, but the Sale price made me feel .... ok ..... / no correct that, Honestly anything above $50 for a keyboard is a Ripoff to me, but I know that you get what you pay for, and if I would've went cheap for exact features, then I wouldn't have a good working product....
Buy this if you can afford it! Great Backlit / wireless keyboard

I LOVE this keyboard. The battery life is superb unless you turn the back light way way up well beyond where you might need it. No more fumbling around at night trying to see what keys I'm pressing. This is a great buy! GREAT buy. I'm going to upgrade the mouse soon though as a standard 3 button isn't cutting the mustard for MMO's. But with my first build this is a great combo with a Logitech paired mouse and a Logitech G930 headset. Got everything on sale, and best buy had the best price on the keyboard! As opposed to 130$ @ Micro Center. The battery is internal and the keyboard goes idle if your hands aren't on it. I don't know what the sensor is but the keyboard knows if you're touching it or not and lights up accordingly. I would buy several if I had a need. This is such a great product! KUDOS to Logitech. I'm bought hook line and sinker. Big ups to Logitech for this keyboard!
