It works just as advertised. It allowed me to hide all of my electronics in my bed room behind a faux mantel. Looks great and works pretty good with Alexas as well.

Okay. These things are great. We have them in front of every TV. I got tired of trying to find remotes. We had Xbox remotes. TV remotes. Cable Remotes. Remotes in the couch cushions. I still can't find an appleTV remote. But we've always got our phones with us. So that's how we use these. The setup curve is pretty steep but once you're done, you're good. It's not impossible and sometimes, seems a little overwhelming. But it's doable. This is the basic hub that interfaces with all your IR devices. Now the only thing I have to worry about when it comes to remotes is making sure the batteries don't corrode when they're left in the drawer.

I love this. It was VERY easy to set up and it works via wifi on your home network, or while away from home. I can turn my TV on while away from home. What a GREAT safety feature so no one knows I am not home. There is some lag time when using it through the internet but much more rapid when on your home network. The toughest part was looking at the backs of the hardware I wanted to add to get model numbers. Other than that the iOS app did ALL the work.

I recently ditched a bedroom cable box in favor of using a Roku. That means 3 remotes-TV, Roku and soundbar. I did my research and everything lead me to a Harmony device. The Harmony Hub allows me to have use nothing but my phone. Full disclosure, I still prefer to use the Roku remote over the Harmony App but this solved my needs perfectly and on a budget. After set up, I can use an Echo Device to turn on my Roku player or the Harmony App. It powers the Roku, TV and soundbar on/off all in sequence. The app has a sleep timer built in to the main menu so you don't even need to dig into the TV's remote for that. For a bedroom, room where you're not interacting much with remotes, or on a budget, this is an outstanding choice. I personally prefer using a remote opposed to the app but I suppose that's because I'm used to remotes. Setup was not completely flawless but it wasn't difficult by any means. I'd take .5 off my 5 star review for the less than smooth setup if I were being extremely picky. Still the device does what it's supposed to do and the Alexa Skills are a nice touch. Despite the negative reviews of the skills themselves, they do actually work.

I was a little skeptical at first. But when I actually purchased my new harmony hub I was so impressed with how easy it was to use with all my devices not only was it easy I was able to make it work with my Amazon echo which was unbelievable. Now I can control my TV all my shows anything I'm gonna do with my radio stations in my DVR and I PlayStation was just a voice to my harmony hub. Great product !

Too often electronics promise more than they deliver. This is not the case here. The harmony hub can do so much more than I'm asking of it now, but it does what I ask it every time. I love being able to walk into a room and say "Alexa, tell harmony hub to turn on the TV" and the tv, lights, and cable box all turn on. I think Harmony may be on the verge on the one controller that brings all your electronics together.

This is a great product and easy to use. It ties your tv, media and everything else you can think of directly to your smartphone. It is slim in appearance and is really fun to use!

The hub is a little black box. Hub connects to wifi to communicate with your phone and Harmony home base. As a prior user of Harmony remotes, the hub imported all my equipment and activities easily. I initially experienced less than desirable performance. Through trial and error that deleting then reinstalling a couple pieces of equipment helped. I also taught the hub some specific commands directly from the equipment's native remote. Finally, I experimented with several positions for the hub. I found a position centrally located and to the front edge on the equipment rack produced the best result. Keep your old remote(s) around, run down batteries in your phone or a loss of wifi renders hub useless. I am now satisfied with hub's performance. But the experience was not as good as my old Harmony remote.

Just the addition we needed for connecting our Smart TV to Alexa. Also, we don't worry about finding the TV remote. It's now connected to our smart phones.

I bought this to use with my Harmony 950 and my Amazon Echo Dot. Set-up was fairly easy, though I hate the MyHarmony desktop software. The Harmony iOS app, on the other hand, is really surprisingly good. Getting everything to sync wasn't too bad, and while Harmony's Echo "skills" are a bit clunky (they have two of them: one controls volume but doesn't do activities, the other does activities but doesn't control volume), they do work, most of the time anyway. Specific commands can be tricky, like having the Dot open the tray on a Blu-Ray player, but as far as turning activities on and off, it's very good, and it does a good job stopping, pausing, and controlling the volume. As I'm writing this, it probably sounds like a case of "how lazy can you get" that you would want to use voice commands instead of just picking up the remote, but once you've used a device like the Echo Dot, you get used to controlling things while you're doing something else (working in the kitchen, answering the phone with one hand and not wanting to juggle the remote a the same time, etc.). Plus, the iOS app is really good and substitutes nicely for the remote. I still use the remote, but I also use the voice commands and the app, so for me, I feel that I'm getting more bang for my buck than I did with just the remote.

I've got the Harmony Hub controlling my home theater equipment. No need for a harmony remote if you have a cell phone. My wife and I both have the app running on our phones and for the first time ever, she can understand how to control more of the system than volume and channel (don't know if that's good or not). Switching component and television inputs is done through a simple interface grouped in "activities" which are somewhat equivalent to the macro's on old school smart remotes. Setup can be a little involved, but most 12 or 13 year old's could probably help you if you get in a pinch. I have mine hooked up with an Amazon Echo Dot to provide voice control in addition to the phone app. At age 60, my systems have increased in complexity and i've been through several (more expensive) smart remotes to make system control easier, but I have always been the only one who could understand how to control the system. No more. 'Course I do set up the "activities"... The only issue is that the Android app sometimes gets bogged down for some reason and becomes less responsive. This never happens on my wife's Iphone. When it happens on my phone, a quick uninstall/re-install on my phone fixes it. I have other remote apps running though and think that one of them may be clashing. We both love it.

I've wanted better voice control for the TV, and this gets me closer. The harmony hub really only works with Alexa so far as you can have her turn on/off multiple devices in your AV system. But don't rely on her to change channels or volume.
