Great for podcast and fair price

It was a no brainer to set up and worked right out of the box. I did buy a boom and a mic screen and would recommend you do the same thing.

Great microphone

During online play, his friends tell him that he sounds like a professional gamer! Great purchase.

Blue Yeti Pro

This was perfect for that need. Everyone says its very clear. The volume control knob seems a bit sensitive but thats for headphones so not a big deal for me.

Great Microphone!

Faulty hardware

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I received a malfunctioning unit that had hardware issues with USB, reliable mute issues, and affected the XLR functionality as well. Had to keep power cycling mic to return functionality. Ended up returning it and picking up newer yeti x pro since I need the USB functionality more at the moment. Also is not supported by Logitech P-Hub app, who owns Blue now I believe and is the official software integration. Obviously, Logitech/Blue is leaving these behind and would impact functionality outside XLR. Disappointing experience from Blue/Logitech. Seems like they are looking to turn these mics into planned obsoletion devices, which I don’t agree with.

I am sorry that Yeti Pro did not work as expected. You are right, Logitech no longer supports the Yeti Pro, and the Yeti X is replacing it. The XLR collection will keep growing and being supported as well as the USB collection, but for the foreseeable future, Logitech will not release any hybrid USB/XLR microphones.
