Good coffee maker for what we wanted. Had a more expensive unit from different brand, but wigged out on us. Bought this Mr. Coffee unit for the name & price. Only two complains. Unit supplied water filter design is bazzar, and sometimes comes loose & falls in coffee ground basket. Also, apparently there is burner control, so any coffee older than thirty minutes must be re-heated.

I wish this got a little hotter. Works well though and brews fast. The lid of the water container is not attached in any way, shape, or form. Makes it feel kind of cheep. Thermos works well though and keeps the coffee warm.

We had a Mr. Coffee forever. It had an almost unbreakable carafe . The hard water finally killed it so we bought this one and are very pleased with it and the thermal carafe.

Pours a little slow. Is that bad????? The aroma of the hot brewed coffee builds up the anticipation of that first sip! Love the thermos keeping coffee hot without sitting on a warming tray!

Love this coffee maker had one at home had to buy another for the office love that it’s a thermos don’t have to worry about it going empty & burning the bottom of the pot. No need for auto shut off, it don’t have a heating plate .

Absolutely love this! We had one in a vacation rental this year, my husband would not stop talking about it. So I got him one for his birthday, he was making coffee at 9 pm that night! I love how hot the coffee stays without burning, and the freshness timer is very nice.

Retired Navy always looking for that great cup of coffee like on the ship. Coffee now days is bitter just thought it was the pot. got me some Organic coffee, it was the coffee no heartburn since switching to Organic and the Optimal brew. coffee stays hot all-day and tastes great. Great buy Mr. Coffee- Optimal Brew.

Love it, just wish it were a 12 cup! It is safe because the coffee maker turns off when it’s finished brewing and the hot coffee is kept hot by the carafe!

I really like this coffee maker! The removable water reservoir makes it really nice and easy to get the water ready. Instead of having to fill the carafe and pour the water in, all you do is take the reservoir off the side and take it to the sink and fill it. It's a cinch! No more dripping water everywhere like with every other coffee maker! I also really like the fact that the compartment that you put the coffee filter and grounds in is completely enclosed. So even if you put too much coffee in it, it does not overflow and make a mess! Genius! Also the sealed metal carafe is very convenient. You just have to push a button on the handle to pour your coffee. When I am done brewing and I pour my cup I just pop the carafe into the fridge. The coffee stays fresh for days like this! Love it!

Excellent coffeemaker! Easy to use, makes a great and hot cup of coffee.

Love being able to program it the night before and wake up to coffee. It doesn't have a warmer plate so it doesn't scald the coffee like my old one used to. The double-wall carafe keeps the coffee hot for a few hours, but not so hot you can't drink it. With my old coffee maker I would have to let it sit for a few minutes before drinking. Overall, it was a good purchase.

Had this model before and I expect this unit to last for a number of years. Being thermal you get hot coffee for two to three hours. Never burnt or stale. Even cold it still taste good.

An excellent coffee maker keeps your coffee hot for hours. Reliable and dependable maker, a must in your kitchen, bought it for my mom's Christmas gift.

Coffee tastes great and the decanter keeps it hot for well over an hour. The only drawback is an occasional drop or two of water that leaks onto the counter when brewing. It's probably related to the charcoal filter on top of the filter basket. However, it wouldn't keep me from buying another one.

I bought this unit based on the insulated stainless carafe. The carafe is great, however the maker itself is just fair. There is no built in filter and the water and coffee filter chambers are not easily accessible. The lid for the water container is not attached and therefore easy to lose.

Good coffee maker. Does not need to keep coffee warm because The carafe keeps it warm. Much quieter and faster that old coffee maker.

Our old vaccum was on its last leg it was time for a new one . so off to best buy . it was easy with the sales guy . i just had shoulder surgery it said no problem and he brought to the front and even loaded in to our jeep

My purchase will be stored until my current Mr Coffee of the same design wears out. (Hasn’t happened yet). I wouldn’t want any other style and don’t want to be a day without it. Simple to use, no sloppy water dripping, convenient coffee basket,fast brewing, right into the carafe to be enjoyed most of the day. A great design.

I have had 5 of these coffee makers over many years & I am not happ that the top piece comes off on where you put the h2o in. they used to be attached where it would slide up. I really miss that feature. Also after about 1 year I have had problems with 3 of my Mr. Coffee units because they start leaking water from bottom of the base underneath. I wish they would correct these a2 issues & I would rate it higher. Hopefully someone is listening that can make a change & make them better because I would love to recommend this to friends & family.. but will not until changes are made."0

This brewer replaced the exact same brewer I had for several years (it was a gift) but it leaked constantly. I loved it for size & design for my purposes. So I purchased a new one at Best Buy and my fingers are crossed. So far it hasn’t leaked. It’s a great coffee maker.
