I have never been a big vacuum person mainly because I hate carpet and have all hard surfaces/wood in my homes so I stayed more toward the lighter stick type vacuum's that you can use on hard floors. I never wanted to spend the money on a Dyson I mean come on a vacuum is a vacuum, right? WRONG The Dyson V6 Animal is AMAZING and SO worth the price! It sucks up everything nothing gets up ALL the cat/dog hair like this! I don't know how I lived this long without it! I highly recommend ! And Best Buy was great they matched a sale price from another store! Awesome service!

Excellent for quick and easy clean up. We live on two wooded acres of land and have two large dogs and three cats. can easily get down low or can reach up high for anything needing to be vacuumed.

I bought this for my home, I needed a Vaccum for small areas and stairs and I absolutely love this Vaccum, it's easy to get out real quick and go over floors.

I used to have the cinetic big ball but this is so much easier to use for my 2 bedroom apartment. Haven’t run out of battery in one cleaning yet, Which was my biggest concern since it only advertises 15 minutes. Very pleased!

Used it on a thick pile rug and it got almost all of the cat hair out on the first run. Just a few hairs left behind. Far and away best vacumn I have used.

I love all the attachments and the ease of use. The pick up is great and it's easy having the handheld attachment right on it. I like the weight of it....light and easy to maneuver.

BEST CORDLESS CLEANER. STRONG POWER TO CLEAN. I DO NOT LIKE THE DOCKING STATION. I LIKE TO CHARGE IT ON THE FLOOR.

struggled with spending the money on a Dyson, but 2 weeks later i'm wondering why i did not do it sooner

This vacuum is great for any aspect. I use it for my hardwood floor and on carpet in apartment to clean up dog hair and other messy things tracked in from my German Shepherd (and me, as well). I also use it to tackle the mese in my pickup to get dog hair and dirt and whatever else with the attachments that come with it. It has everything needed to tackle a good mess. I highly recommend. Definitely wish the battery was longer but it does what I need. If you want a longer battery life, the v8 may last longer but I haven't tried it.

I've been too stingy to buy a Dyson for way too long! Then I realized I've been buying a new cheap vaccum every 2-3 years so I finally did it and i'm so glad!! It is so light and maneuverable (I have mobility issues,) i was shocked at how much better it is than a bigger/heavier traditional vaccum. The first time I used i had to dump the bucket several time because it picked up so much! I thought I would have to compromise a lot of power for such a light stick vac, but the opposite happened. Dyson just found a new loyal customer!

Leave the big bulky upright vacuum behind! Simply grab this off the provided mountable charging dock and go! Running out of time before guests arrive? This gets the job done quick and efficiently. Great for houses with pets!

I have all tile, 4 dogs and 2 cats with lots of pet hair! This has great suction, and works great on furniture too. Light weight, great for using for dusting ceiling fans. It does not have a big bin for dirt so I end up emptying a few times while vacuuming. Battery supposedly only last 20 mins but I have yet to drain it, even when vaccuming entire house (about 2300 sq feet). You must always have your finger on the on button to use.

We go through a lot of vacuums, we have two cats and a dog. This vacuum is purely amazing. It's sucks up fur, hair, dirt, food and dust like crazy! No loss of suction and long battery life.

I have fibromyalgia and serious neck and back issues. This vaccum is the answer to this girl’s prayers. We own a 2 story home with a basement and have wall to wall carpet. I’m so impressed and in love with this vaccum.

Great Vacuum for the money. You're definitely getting what you're paying for. We consistently get ~15 to 20 minutes as long as the max suction isn't on. We use it to deep clean the rugs in our house and the smaller motorized attachment for our couches everyday. Great at getting stubborn dog hair off of couches! The small Bristled attachment is great for baseboards and crown moulding. I've even used it on the keyboard of my macbook. Really great buy especially when you get all the attachments!

Nothing this beast can't do! Great for my condo! Unless you have a large house or price tag is too much for your budget this is one serious vacuum!

This is a great vacuum that is light weight, portable and very convenient to use. The suction power is awesome.

The different attachments are perfect for all areas of the house/car - dusting blinds is a breeze! The vacuum is the perfect size for small jobs and doesn't tire you out to hold it.

I replaced a traditional heavy vacuum machine with the Dyson V6 Animal. All the Dyson "V6" as the same, expect for the attachments and colors. I did have to get used to cleaning out the dust container more often because it's pretty small. The battery life hasn't been a problem. I know it's expected to last about 15 minutes and it lasts at least 15 minutes. The suction power isn't overwhelming, but it is more than sufficient. I bought it on sale and I'm happy with it. I would not have paid the full price for it.
