Good solid wheel with force feedback

Feedback in the strong wheel is cool and the pedals feel sturdy and well built. I've done plenty of hard braking in the month and a half since I bought it and they seem fine. Works well with PS5 and GT7, although I can't say I'm any better at the game because of the wheel. Mounts onto a small portable table I have because I wasn't trying to buy some specific set up for it. And then I have an old height adjustable office chair for seating. It could be more ergonomic I'm sure but it works and it's a lot of fun. Is this wheel as good as the more expensive Logitech wheel, probably not but for this being the budget option I don't think you can go wrong.

My First Sim Wheel Setup

It's not the cheapest nor the most expensive wheel out there but its well worth the money for what you get. Road feedback and vehicle nuances are tastefully responsive. The wheel and pedals are easy to setup. The factory pedals worked well, but I did an update because I invested in a Steering Wheel Stand for a semi pro setup and prefer a different pedal orientation. Love my new setup and you will have hours, days, weeks, month, and years of fun with the G29.

Do not be foold by Thurstmaster’s high prices or the new flashy wheens that are coming out now. That just means that NOW is the best time to buy the G29. It is phenomonal in every way and works with so many games. There is a way, usinga small device, that will allow you to use this on any system or any game. Just search google and you will find your answer. As for the debate of this g29 vs the new g923… I have read reviews and even tried the new Logitech Steering wheel (g923) and it is IDENTICAL besides a few color changes and an over DECREASE in quality from the leather to the peddles. The new wheel does add a new technology called TRUEFORCE but it is not supported by many games and in fact the new peddle is HARDER to drive on and more expensive.

Definitely recommend the chair also sold at Best Buy to mount the steering wheel and pedals to. It’s less than $200 and the only way we could stabilize this set enough to drive. Super fun!

Works right out of the box just make sure u have usb plugged into Playstation and the AC Adapter plugged in wall . Plug in the footpedals to your steering wheel and your i for a treat. The force feedback is quite strong for a first timer and the wheel feels good being wrapped in leather. The brake pedal feels good too. When combined with a decent cockpit . It No longer feels like im playing a video game but actually racing.

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had to replace my older G29 racing wheel because it died on me on after 6yrs of use, i’ve been play American Truck Simulator since it was released in 2016 and I also got the new next level racing wheel stand (which is much more sturdier and stronger) to replace my old wheel stand pro . The steering wheel has excellent rumble feedback, not only will you feel the regular bumps in the road thru the steering wheel but even speed bumps as well and special bumps in the loading and unloading areas and also as you drive at higher speeds the wheel resistance is much greater to give you more control when driving (especially on highway curves) compared to be more looser when driving at lower speeds etc... The pedals have great resistance too, no worry of having the brake pedal go to floor when your trying to stop your truck or the gas pedal being to stiff to speed up. If your looking to upgrade your steering wheel you cant go wrong with the G29 racing wheel, I almost forgot to mention that all the buttons on the steering wheel can be customized to control your lights, start/stop engine, cruise control, gps map, hazard lights, turn signals, trailer hook/unhook, parking brake, air horn, windshield wipers etc...... If you love to drive using a stick shift a stick shift bracket is included with the wheel and pedals, but the stick shift itself isn’t included and you have to buy that separately but make sure the one you have or are going to get is compatible with the G29 racing wheel.
