This vacuum has good suction and picks up a lot. Not sure how it does on pet hair because I don't have pets.

My third rotator lift away I have purchased over the past twelve years. Original still works great, bought one as a gift, this new model claimed more suction than other brands so I decided to give it a try. It is so light and powerful, does a wonderful job cleaning in a short amount of passes. Motorized floor nozzle is best tool I have ever used on my carpeted stairs.

I have really enjoyed this Shark vacuum. We previously had a bulky Dyson, which was good, but it was heavier and cumbersome. The Shark Rotator Powered Lift-Away is light and POWERFUL! The options for use are cool, like the hard floor attachment and the ability to detach the motor/canister to get more mobility. Favorite vacuum in the past 20 years.

We just used our old vacuum which we emptied every other use. When we used The Shark, it was every room. The joys of a dog. We love The Shark!

Easy to put together. Allow time to get familiar with basic p`arts. For example, the power button is not on` the handle because of the lift-off provision. Used floor device and as a lift away and was pleased with the performance. Emptying is a little tricky the first time but no real problem.. Haven't tried the tilting back/canister-like mode.

After the common debate of whether spending the $$$ on a Dyson we decided to go with this Shark instead after it was recommended to me. At half the price of a comparable Dyson I am very happy I went with the Shark. The suction is amazing for all surfaces and never fades. Switching from hard floor to carpet is simple. Cleaning is just as easy. So far, so good. Great vacuum.

I purchased this because our 5+ year old Oreck wasn't cutting it on our 4,000 sq. home. I search online for a good, inexpensive vacuum and a Shark was highly recommended. I purchased it, tried it at home that afternoon and WOW, it is embarrassing seeing the amount of dirt, hair, dust that this vacuum's canister gathers each week. Our carpet looks new again!

The Shark Rotator Lift-away handles like a dream, very maneuverable and has several features and suction types available depending on the floor type being vacuumed. The Lift away feature is so easy to use and great for those hard to reach places when you need it. The vacuum was very easy to assemble. Overall, I love this vacuum.

Easy to assemble and use. Attachments are useful. This thing has some major power behind it! Really the only downside I can see is that the canister is a little small and can sometimes be a bit messy when emptying into the garbage. That's really only a minor gripe though. It's great overall. Keep an eye out for it on sale.

This is my first shark vacuum and am very happy I bought this lift away model. Lightweight , great suction and easy to put together and use. Would've gotten all 5 stars but I do have 3 people with long hair in my house and I do have to remove long hair from roller brush about every other month.... my other vacuum I was cutting hair off every use . Love this shark !

I have been really happy with this vacuum. Very good power, love the hard floor attachment. I do wish the head was wider and the collection area bigger. It fills up really quick. I love the little powered brush for pet hair. Thus far very pleased with the performance and functionality of the vacuum. Honestly I look forward to vacuuming!

I really like the ease with which I can maneuver this vacuum. It's light weight and has multiple attachments. Wish it had a bit more suction

I am pretty amazed at the dirt it pulls up. I still learning how to best use the attachments and taking the main tank and separating it from the vacuum to clean difficult to reach spots. I am enjoying the vacuum being a lighter weight than my previous vacuum which makes it easier to go up and down stairs.

Great suction and very versatile. Like the ability to use as a canister style too. Cord could be a bit longer

Love this vacuum! Easy to maneuver and it really has amazing suction. The only thing missing is a retractable cord.
