I did a lot of comparisons before buying and this was the vacuum that seemed to top the rest. After buying I went home and vacuumed my house with my previous vacuum to see how much it would pick up. Then I went over a second time with the shark. This vacuum is amazing it picked up so much more dirt and all without spitting out any dust. Definitely worth the money spend in my opinion.

This vacuum is just like it’s oceantic cousin. It will smell dust in the carpet from a mile away and it will find it. I use a roomba on schedule but this predator will find the stuff the smaller weaker species cannot. It is an apex predator of the carpeting world. It makes it seem like 6 of my pets including my wife do not exist in this ocean of carpet

Great power and versatility. Easy to move around. Glad I picked this over dyson.

Heavier than I expected but does a great job on my hardwood floors and carpeted stairs. Comes apart easily and has all the tools you need. Nice long cord as well.

I've had Dysons for 15years. This vacuum is half the price and even better! I have 3 kids and a dog that sheds year round. This machine picks up every piece of dog hair in one sweep. The light on the front really helps in darker corners to see the dust. THe only draw back is that it is not self-propelled - it's a lot heavier than my old machines so it is a workout sweeping the carpets.

Had one of these in our warehouse at work and no matter what we used it for it wouldn’t give up. Extremely durable. Bought this one for home.

This is a great vacuum. It had a lot of power and great for thick carpet.

This vacuum has alot of power and clean the carpet faster. Like the way it moves easy and underneath furniture.Shark is the best vacuum cleaner that I have had.

This is my third Shark Vacuum. Strictly by choice since I prefer vacuums on every floor. This is my first actual lift-away. It is very easy for using under beds and furniture. I find this model a little more cumbersome to use, I,e the cords could be longer, the canister easier to settle back on the machine after emptying, and the on/off button needs a re-design. Hard to push in and off but still works once you get the hang of it. Overall great suction and good with pet hair.

I was determined to get a Dyson but I couldn't resist the good value of this vacuum cleaner and I am so glad I did. It is so easy to use, detaching the various parts to use in its' various forms is quick and easy. Each configuration has its own particular use so it means you have three different vacuum styles in one product which saves space. It is easy and quick to empty. Love it.

I love this vacume cleaner. I have had a Sharp vacume before but did not get the higher end model. This vacume is far superior and comes with a seven year warranty. It does a wonderful job of picking up pet hair and comes with several great attachments. I researched the vacumes in Consumer reports first and this one was the best. I am very happy with my purchase.

This is a full featured vacuum!! We have had a top line Dyson vacuum for ten years and this vacuum out performs by several times over what the Dyson ever could do. This is not super light, but certainly easy to handle. The bagless dustbin is easy to remove and empty. We have not yet used all the attachments, however, each item appears well made.

Great suction power on this vacuum, and I love the no-touch removal of trash. it has no problem removing the dog hair from the floor, carpet or couch. The only con is that the suction gun does not stretch well with current hose when removed for up high cleaning.

I have gone through many different vacuums in the past but straight out of the box, the Shark really surpassed my expectations! This unit has great suction along with easy maneuverability. The accessories work great and the emptying of the bag is extremely easy. Great unit!

Bought this as replacement for a 12yo Kenmore and it's unbelievable! The things that we thought were clean before are super clean now. We have 3 dogs and a cat that shed everywhere and this thing works great on both the carpet AND the furniture, with the mini-roller attachment, in getting up all of the hair. Highly recommend this if you're in need of a vac.

When looking for a new vacuum, after having a Dyson, I was looking for something a little more easy to manage when vacuuming and disposal of the dirt from the canister. I like this Shark because it is very easy to use. I just wish the cord was a little longer so I wouldn't have to unplug and plug back in for each of our rooms. My rooms are large and the cord isn't long enough. I also do not like that the vacuum will easily fall over when using the detachable hose. Other than that, I like this vacuum and it seems to have good suction for removing dirt.
