Bought this for my mother. She hasn't stop vacuuming since!! Very powerful vacuum and picks up dog hair without any problems.

The suction on this vacuum is excellent- cleaning power beats our previous Dyson. Included tools (especially power roller brush) are superb. The lights on this unit are incredible; have never had such great lighting on a vacuum!!!

I replaced this with your typical featured $125 upright that just didn't work as well after a few years. I started looking at a few Dyson, but still couldn't bring myself to spend that much on a vacuum. This Shark was a great compromise and hasn't disappointed. It's picking up more dirt than ever and has a great selection of attachment. This XL capacity is good if you're doing the whole house and want less trips to dump out the canister. I use the lift-away feature all the time to do things like my steps to the second floor.

This Shark vacuum replaced my 12 year old Dyson Pet vacuum. I did not realize how poorly my Dyson picked up until I tried out this vacuum. The Shark picks up on first pass and is so easy to switch from carpet to floor. Also, picks up well under cabinet edges and along the wall where my Dyson never did. I can vacuum in less time now that I don't have to duplicate my vacuum path. This vacuum picks up and performs better than my Dyson ever did. Anyone who purchases this Shark vacuum will be very pleased. This Shark vacuum does not disappoint.

This is an outstanding unit. I was not sure which vacuum to buy and after reading many reviews, I choose this. I am not sorry! This unit works better than any I have ever owned in my life. The amount of dirt it picks up for each pass is incredible!

Great suckson , a bit heavy but worth it . the hose could be longer

I have a large pet family including 11 birds and several of my own cats and fostering a mama and her kittens. This is the first vacuum I've owend that goes seamlessly from rug to hard wood floor and inhales the feathers, seed husks and cat hair like it is nothing. Super easy to get under things since the comes off so easily. The only slight suggestion would be to have the attachments click on a little better so they don't pop off if they brush against a couch or table. but I just Love this vacuum! And I normally hate hosework!

I have had this vacuum for a couple years now and it is still going strong. I had a dyson before this, but i like this vacuum much more. They both have equal suction power and similar functionality, but the price is much better on this. I like the attachments and that the main hose/canister can disconnect from the handle and go pretty much anywhere I need it to go to suction hard to reach areas.

Needless to say, this is a powerhouse. It's also a second Shark I have because of its easy maintenance. In general, it's a bit heavy but has very strong suction. The three mode suction allows you to vacuum effectively both on carpet, rug, and floor. However, it's also a flaw. If you use this unit on rug, it sucks too well...to the point of ripping of the edge. Switching between wood floor and rug are problematic. You should use the mid mode for that. It will bounce like crazy but does it job. In addition, make sure to buy extra filters. While the filter can be use for more than 2 years, Shark soon runs out of the model's inventory and....nothing you can do. Bottom line, it's more functional, affordable, and long lasting compare to Dyson.

New home without central vac required me to purchase this product. Performs well on tile and low to high pile carpets. Suction power is more than adequate. Like the many attachments. A tad heavy to maneuver.

I was a big fan of the Dyson until I bought this vacuum. I love the lift away feature makes it so easy to vacuum those hard to reach places. Has great suction and is just an overall great vacuum.

Fantastic vacuum cleaner. Suction is superb. I replaced my rainbow vacuum cleaner with this Shark. I really enjoy using it because it cleans so thoroughly. Great price for this cleaning machine.

Use it all the time I got tile carpet and solid wood floors works great can go from room to room without changing anything and when full can take off canister with no headache and dump with ease Iim very pleased

We have generally spent less than $100 on vacuums as they never seemed to last for us. When our last gave up, we decided to try to invest in a better brand and quality. We did a lot of research and decided on the Shark. So far it has been excellent!!! We have a mix of laminate floors and low carpets. It cleans both without issue. Ours came with several attachments and we like the ability to convert from upright to canister. This was well worth the money!!!

I have an older model lift away and have not had any issues except the length of the hose. This unit has stronger suction, large dust cup and a longer hose. I highly recommend this product

I BOUGHT A SAMASUNG, DYSON, ETC... NOTHING WOULD WORK ON OUR LONGER HAIRED CURRENT STYLE CARPET... THIS WORKS PERFECT!!

We had an older Shark, and it was a great vacuum. We liked the new features of this model. MUCH larger dust collection bin, better steering, addition of LED "headlights," even on the extension wand. Suction is very strong, and it picks up everything! So glad they decided to move the power and brush controls to the handle! This is an amazing vacuum, just buy it!

Salesperson knew exactly what I was looking to accomplish and so confidently suggested the shark which has blown my Dyson out of the water, this is the best vacuum I've ever used.
