Bought because I needed the quick hose and quick bin detach options. I like how the bin opens from top and bottom, so getting dog hair out is simple. It's probably not the best of you have a lot of dog hair to deal with. It pulls it up well, but the brushes get tangled quickly. It's really not an issue, but worth mentioning. The accessories work well and makes it a very versatile machine. Picks up well on hard floors and thick carpet.

I wasn't looking for a new vacuum cleaner when I saw the "Flash Sale" on the BB site but at that price, it made sense to read the reviews. We currently own a Shark Navigator that we like very much but this Shark offers far more features for the money. After vacuuming with the Navigator, I then vacuumed with the XL and still collected another fourth of the cannister with dirt . Looking forward to this new experience!

Has a Dyson Animal. This has better suction and construction. Nice attachments. Very versatile.

This vacuum is so versatile. It is an upright Transformer. It quickly transforms to a canister. It rotates like that vacuum w a ball. It has so many attachments that make life easy. Favorite attachment is the handheld rotating brush... perfect for pets and furniture. The suction is very powerful. And the canister is so easy to dump. This vacuum is everything I wanted in a vacuum. I could not ask for more.

Versatile, easy to move (no tugging or pushing), picks up everything, easy to empty, I could go on but you get the idea!

I like the vacuum a lot. It has good suction and I like the wand has a light on it. You wouldn't think that matters but it is pretty nice

I did A LOT of research before buying this vacuum. My wife is the one that uses it the most but she has raced about it ever since we got it. Extra long cord, led lights to help you see better, the dust chamber is easy to empty without making a mess, it’s quick and easy to detach from the base to clean stairs. This is a great product.

Love it! It really works well. Love that I can go from carper to hard floors with the push of a button.

My Wife and I have 3 dogs, 2 cats and 3 exotic birds and they all make a mess!!! We have tried many differant makes, models and designs of vacuum but the shark beats them all. As a test I first vacuumed the house 2x's with the old vacuum (cleaning it out before each run) then I ran the shark not expecting to get much.... I was surprised to see more picked up with one pass of the Shark than the 2nd run of my old vacuum. I'll keep this one for awhile. The one draw back and the reason I did not give it 5 stars was the weight, but it is easy to use just heavy to take between floors (my wife is disabled) But the proof is in the performance, it's just built right.

We needed a new vacuum and discussed either a Shark or a Dyson. We had heard good reports from friends on the Shark, so we bought one. One of the best purchases we've made. It works on our hand knotted area rugs extremely well, and cleans our hardwood floors, too. It's easy to manipulate and very easy to empty the waste canister. Seems to never loose suction on any type of surface. If you need a vacuum, this is the one.

Fantastic dirt pickup, all filters easily washable and replaceable. Attachments for nearly every purpose and easy conversion to different vacuum styles is a plus.

I am very happy with my purchase so far. This vacuum is easy to use and really does pick up more dirt than the average upright. The seals are good so the outside of the vacuum isn't dirty or dusty at all. The powered upholstery attachment works very well on getting dog hair (we have an Australian Shepherd so there is a lot of it) off of the couch cushions. This vacuum has made cleaning time for me much easier!

I live in a house with cats and dogs. It was time to upgrade vaccuum cleaners, as our old one was failing to suction properly. I was torn between a Dyson and a Shark. I have heard excellent reviews about both. I went with the Shark and I'm certainly glad I did. It does an excellent job and was much more affordable than any of the Dyson models. Do yourself a favor and purchase a Shark! It's awesome and easy to use!

I read many reviews before purchasing this vac. I was torn between the popular Dyson vac and Shark. But over and over again the reviews for the Shark vacuum beat comparable Dyson models. And now I see why. Maneuverability and suction are superior on this vacuum. I found myself using all the attachments to gather every bit of dust and debris in my home from floor boards, to blinds, to ceiling fans. I couldn't be happier.

I was in need of a new vacuum after having to basically buy a new one what seemed like every year. I have two golden retrievers and keeping up with the hair is always a chore. Let me just say I spent a month looking for the best choice. I am so glad I purchased this. Between great job it does on my carpet and the ease of being able to go from carpet to hardwood floor in a snap dog fur is no longer my enemy.

Ok- I have Dyson envy, but I can't imagine one would be better than this. If it's possible for suction to almost be too much, this vacuum falls into that category! It's a bit on the heavy side, but it's bare floor function works great, especially for picking up cat litter. I've been cautioned to use that on my area rugs, because they're valuable Persian rugs. The one time I didn't, the suction made the nap stand up. I wish it had a retractable cord , but this industrial model shark has plenty of advantages. Caution – make sure there's nothing, including small towels that might be in its path, because it will suck them up too!

This is honestly one of the best vacuums I've ever owned! I love the led lights! They help me see even the tiniest crumbs. The also love the versatility: stand -up, caddy, or detach and hold. Those help depending on what I'm trying to clean. It comes with great attachments. The only thing that would make this vacuum better is if it came with the bendable dusting attachment that come with their other vacuums.

What a great vac! It's comparatively quiet, powerful and easy to maneuver. This is my 2nd SHARK and it will likely not be my last. Highly recommended.

I honestly was sceptical when I first bought it because it sounded to good to be true. I have a husky mix and she sheds like crazy. I cleaned my couch the night before with my old vacuum and cleaned it the best I could but you could still see white hairs from my dog. The next day I got my shark in the mail put it together and vacuumed my couch again. I couldn't believe how much it was picking up. By the end of vacuuming my couch and the living room floor I had the tank full. I vacuum every two days but I never got a full tank out of my other vacuum cleaner.

Absolutely love my new Shark Rotator so easy to use and empty quickly pet hair attachment is fabulous
