This coffee maker is awesome. It makes a much wider selection than my old espresso maker! Only con is that the espresso style drinks are still not as strong as real espresso. Overall, I'm extremely happy with mine!

I just recently got into making different style coffees so I'm a newb but I love this machine! It's easy to use and clean. More importantly the coffee tastes great to my wife and I. Making different drinks takes a little practice but watching how-to videos on the Ninja coffee website makes that easier. I got the best price too at Best Buy. Great buy!

The Ninja kicks butt

The reviews were right! This Ninja is great! I have been using it for 3 days now. The difference in the taste of the coffee compared to my old drip drip maker is completely different. Not only is the coffee better tasting it's also stronger without the bitterness of the old maker. I've tested several features of this coffee maker and they all work great. I've made several different coffee flavored drinks the 1st 3 days and they've all turned out great. My coffee is also hotter than my old drip maker which is great. I have no more mess pouring water into the back of the old maker and pulling it out from under the counter. I'd recommend this thing to anyone. It's easy to use, follow directions when making different coffee's, the delay brew is easy to operate. Overall very happy with my purchase on this pricey coffee maker.

A good little versatile machine.
The foot print is a little smaller than my
Cuisinart coffee maker, which is a plus, but
makes up for it in height.
For filling the water reservoir, it can be removed and
brought to the sink or your refrigerator water dispenser. It the locks back in place easily. No more slow pouring from the carafe or spillage into the basket. Thank you.
A full pot is 43oz. Which is just under 9 cups
compared to my Cuisinart coffee maker.
But, let's face it, it's the one cup brew that's most intriguing.
I don't care for the kcups, I think they taste stale and nasty. I want to use fresh ground coffee without the mess of a single serve filter. That is what's great about the Ninja Coffee Bar.
You can use the permanent filter or paper filters your choice, with three brew settings. Classic, Rich and Specialty.
The classic brew is a little too quick and yields less flavor from the grounds. but gives a smooth flavor to the coffee.
Rich brew uses a little less water, but gets a better saturation. It yields a little bitterness, but just enough to remind you why you drink coffee. I would equate it to a French press brew. Close, but not quite.
I haven't tried the specialty brew. I assume if you like to add a half a cup of milk or cream to your coffee it will taste good no matter what.
It's a smart machine with easy to read display and control panel. A better choice over some other single serve machines.

Overall, my biggest thing is, it's a very noisy pot. When a regular pot of coffee is brewing and nears the end of the water, that sound gets louder-that's the sound from beginning to end that this pot makes. When i set the timer in the morning, i like to wake up to a fresh pot. But with this pot i am waken up by it, and now waiting for a fresh pot to finish.
In terms of flavor i say is average.
In terms of cleaning, if you don't put everything in the dishwasher and you hand wash things, you cannot stick a sponge and wash this pot. You will need one of those sponge on a stick because the opening is so small.
In terms of making specialty cups of coffee, it's fine- if you like to waste paper cone filters for each cup you are brewing. Yes you can make a pot, but mom wants a dark hot coffee, dad wants a iced coffee, husband wants an espresso style etc...you need to switch out the cone filter for each one. This is what i didn't think about when purchasing.
The frother is nice but i followed the instructions with the warm milk, but can't seem to get it right. With the cold milk it's fine.
If it's the fancy cappuccino or latte style that is pulling you to purchase, you may want to get the regular pot and get a nice frother.
For the price i do not think it's worth it. I enjoyed my Cuisinart with the hot water on the side much better and less money. If you are an occasional coffee drinker or don't have many guests who have special requests, this pot may be ok for you, but for me i hate using an entire paper cone just for a cup for myself so for now my keurig is still on the counter.

After having used the Ninja for approximately one month, I can say that I am satisfied with the unit's performance, how it brews the coffee, and the usefulness of the different features of the coffee system. The glass carafe is very difficult to wash, though, and that is somewhat annoying.

1 The carafe is impossible to clean! The dishwasher is the only option but it's hard to fit in. And it never completely dries. Serious design flaw
2 Totally my fault for not thinking it through but any specialty drink that calls for milk requires heating the milk elsewhere, not very convenient.
3. Hot steam shoots out the top so i have to pull it out to use, not terribly convenient with kids running around.
It's a decent coffee maker but not everything I hoped for and it's fairly large and expensive.

It makes the best cup or mug of coffee I have ever had. I have the more expensive coffee maker that uses those k-cups and it is sitting on a shelf in the garage. I would not trade the Ninja coffee maker for no other coffee maker.

I have a few different coffee makers (Keurig, pour over, etc.) and find myself going to this one quite a bit. Makes a great cup of coffee, and the iced coffee option has been used a lot. Haven't tried any of the "specialty" recipes (mostly half carafe and iced coffees) but I'm sure they work as advertised. I'm happy with my purchase!

I am a coffee lover. I drink about a pot a day. That being said..
This Ninja coffee bar is awesome! I have been through a lot of the "competition" coffee brewers. Including 4 different Keurig coffee makers and not one of them makes coffee as good as this brewer does. Not only that, but the Ninja coffee bar has a nice feel to it. It feels well built. This coffee maker brews coffee very fast. Makes the coffee temperature much hotter and taste a lot stronger. The included instructions,(and included coffee scoop) tell you to use 3 full scoops for grounds per pot. I tend to use a bit less, because like I said this brewer does seem to make the coffee stronger.
I rarely give a product 5 stars, but this Ninja brewer deserves all 5. It is a little on the costly side. However, there is some things in life you can't skimp on.... I feel a GOOD coffee maker is one of them.

This has everything and more. Upgraded from a decent stainless black and decker coffee maker to this. The no drip button, the mug flap that pulls down, the permanent coffee filter and the milk froth extra... Little things that make a big difference!!! The coffee always comes out smooth and I can make all sorts of things for a reeeeeeaaally good price. Love it!

This coffee station was an upgrade from a standard percolator type of coffee maker. Coffee tastes bolder and smoother when made with this coffee station. I can only compare the difference as tasting wine with and without decanter. Precise water measurement makes it easier to have consistently good quality coffee. Design is compact and controls are clear. Hope it lasts a long time.

I am very satisfied with this coffee maker. I like that I can vary the size and strength of each brew. It's more convenient than many because I can use whatever coffee I like without worrying about pods of any kind. The only drawback one might have is that it doesn't make true espresso but that's not a problem for me. I have a stovetop espresso maker for those rare occasions that I want an espresso.

I am so happy I purchased this coffee bar, it makes the best coffee and I am really enjoying the specialty coffee drinks too!! I have been using the pods for years and not only is the coffee just as good or better but also saving a lot of money using ground coffee in the bag. The coffee bar is really attractive on my counter and is very easy to operate. I am so happy and love it!!
