Makes the perfect waffle and even heat. Cleans well and storage space is minimally needed as it stands up straight. Love it.

We purchased this as a gift for our daughter who likes to cook, but i think we really just wanted waffles. We opened it up, followed directions, and BOOM perfect waffles. It seriously worked perfect out of the gate. We have found that with a little practice you know exactly much batter to put in to make it perfect. I like mine a little darker, and we made adjustments. Works better then I thought it would. Clean up, the bad part about waffle makers...was super easy. Waited until it cooled, followed directions and was simple. we have gotten a little brush to use on the little pieces.

My wife and I like how compact the waffle maker is, we can just leave it on the counter full time. As with all waffle makers, there are a few things I would like to have seen though. I would like to see a design that has the plates snap in and out for easier cleaning, but if you just let it cook a little longer, any batter can be wiped away. The waffles are nice and uniform with a even darkness across the plates. When you open it up, the waffle will fall easily onto your plate.

Makes you perfect waffles every time. Takes up less room on countertop than a traditional waffle maker. Might be useful to use a funnel to pour in batter if you have bad aim (they should include one). Only downside is making a little bit of a mess if you overpour batter or don’t aim well.

Always wanted a waffle maker but certainly not those dreaded pour, close, and flip ones. Then Cuisinart answered my life-long dream. WHAT A DIFFERENCE. This is by far the easiest waffle maker I've ever used.... and no mess!

Best waffle maker I've owned!! I make perfect waffles every time. The design makes sense. I don't experience spillage like the other types of makers. It co.es with a measuring cup that makes pouring the correct amount of batter. Its also so easy to clean up. The nonstick plates are excellent ive never had a waffle stick. I really enjoy using it! I plane to gift it to family this year.

Best waffle maker I’ve ever had! I must say I was a bit skeptical, but this maker really does a great job! Easy to clean, pours in with ease, especially when using the cup provided. Waffles come out so evenly and fully cooked! It doesn’t stick and no spray needed!

Love it. Was worried at first about it standing upright but waffles come out perfect everytime and it takes up SO much less space on the counter and when stored away. Now I don’t think I’d ever buy a waffle maker that sits or has to be flipped. Buying another for my mom so she can cook waffles for the grandkids

This is one awesome waffle maker, it make perfect waffles everytime. Just put the measuring cup full that comes with maker set your time and it's done, couldn't be any easier, no leaks and easy cleaning.

I bought this because it was the only one on the shelf and I needed something quick for a friend that was visiting. It looked like a good idea when I bought it. Just pour the batter down the spout and voila! Unfortunately, the spout can clog with thick batter. It's messier than you would think as it's very hard to tell when to stop pouring. It's best to use a measuring cup so you don't overfill it. It does make good waffles, though. Once you get the setting the way you like it, the waffles come out perfect. The unit is a little heavy and awkward to store but it does stand vertically without tipping. It's solid from that standpoint. There are other waffle makers available at a lower price with the "flip over" feature, which this one does not have. I would prefer that flip feature but this one still does the job just fine. It's fairly easy to get the waffles out. Once you open the machine, the waffle simply plops onto the lower mould and you can flip it out with a fork or with your fingers (if you're tough).

This doesn’t take up a lot of space, easy to use, compact and stays out on my counter all the time. Like that you can make a selection how well done I would like my waffle.

Great appliance. If you are tight for space, this is the Waffle Maker for you. Also, no more overflowing. The trick is to make sure that your batter is not too thick.

I followed the instructions to NOT add any non-stick spray or butter, and this works perfectly every time. Delicious, fluffy waffles in minutes. I'm in love!

The waffle iron cooks very evenly to a nice golden brown.....Love it except that it takes a little getting used to on the amount of batter to put in. A little guide line would be nice.

The vertical waffle maker is awesome. It amazing how you pour the batter into the top and the batter runs to the bottom in an even coverage. Cooked it on #3 and the waffle comes out perfectly. I would recommend this machine to everyone.

I previously had a Waring Pro waffle maker, which made perfect waffles but was a pain to clean. When it finally broke after years of use, I learned Cuisinart had since acquired Waring. I was skeptical of the idea that it was truly non-stick, didn’t require to be sprayed prior to adding batter, and was easy-to-clean; but after several uses it’s just as easy to clean as day 1.

i use this a lot and I'm loving it. Easy to use, easy to remove the waffle. Doesn't require much cleaning I think as long as you use enough oil in your waffle that it doesn't stick. Cooks evenly.

easy to use and makes great Belgian waffle! My teenage son is easily able to make himself a waffle without help! The measuring cup and pouring spout help make it simple

There are a few flaws in the design, mostly the fact that it is verticle, but it is a solid product and makes a good waffle without a huge mess.
