Customers regard the Orion Spectrum G910 keyboard highly, praising its build quality, RGB backlighting, and satisfying key feel. Many appreciate the ease of use and extensive customization options, along with the positive comments on the software and lighting effects. However, some users express dissatisfaction with the wrist rest, finding it uncomfortable or poorly designed. The lack of a USB passthrough is another frequently cited drawback.

I have had several "gaming" keyboards over the years and for the most part they all have been fine. Some have been better then others while a small percentage have not been to my liking. I would consider this keyboard one of the best I have had. The keys (for me) are a perfect blend of firmness and travel distance. I know that keys are a personal taste of what you like and the keyboards I didn't like all had keys that in my opinion were annoying. The rgb aspect of the keyboard is more or less just like the others. It lights up and you can program the lights to do lots of different colors and patterns. I like the multimedia keys, and if you are doing macro it has 9 macro keys that can be programmed through Logitech G Hub software. A lot of people seem to not like the G Hub software but I personally haven't had a lot of problems with it. I felt the Corsair software was worse as far as ease of use and with the memory footprint. So to wrap this up if you are looking for a good RGB gaming keyboard I do highly recommend this one especially for the price. It does everything the higher priced ones do for half the price.

    Perfect Keyboard

This keyboard is everything I was searching for. I started PC gaming last year on an Alienware laptop and recently wanted to play games in 4K on a new large monitor (TV). I had looked forward to buying a mechanical keyboard and finally bought a Razer Blackwidow Ultimate because of the clicky keys (green switches) and the clean design with backlighting. After trying it out I realized the clickyness was more of a distraction unless I was wearing headphones and I did not like the amount of force needed for actuation or the 4 mm travel to bottom out the key. My preference is probably due to playing on gaming laptops where the actuation and bottoming out distance are typically 2 mm total. I also tried the Razer tournament stealth since I am mostly playing FPS and action games, and do not require macro keys much, and wanted a quieter keyboard. The actuation force needed, the reset point and quieter keys were slightly better but still not quite as responsive or easy to use as a laptop or chiclet keyboard. I also contemplated buying a Razer Deathstalker which had good but not excellent reviews and it had a plastic, inexpensive feel. I still wanted a true mechanical keyboard because of the feedback of the keys. After trying several keyboards at different stores including some with Cherry MX red switches, I came across the Logitech G910 Orion Keyboard. In the store the keys felt much easier to depress and the scalloping of the keys helps locate the center of the key much easier. When I brought it home to play it was very easy to play on and the chroma lighting was bright with no bleeding of light between the keys which was perfect for playing at night. Since the actuation occurs at 1.5 mm and the key bottoms out at 3 mm, it was much more similar to the feel of playing on a laptop with little resistance to pressing the keys (especially the space bar is easy to depress) which is good for action and FPS games. The only criticism is there does not appear to be a USB passthrough or headphone jack to play with headphones. The only other keyboard I would have wanted to try is the Corsair K70 rapidfire with 1.2 mm actuation but the sale price on this keyboard made it a great deal. I would 100% recommend this keyboard if you prefer very responsive keys that are actually easy to type on as well.

Large, brightly lit, and well made. Logitech has been doing keyboards really well for a long time and the 910 is another fantastic product. Large comfortable layout, all the macro keys and media controls you could want, and individual per key lighting control. Additionally the software and game profiles work well.

It’s the best keyboard I’ve had. Worked flawlessly for about 2 years now. The switches feel so good and are really quiet. Definitely pulled off many wins in Call of Duty and Rainbow Six Siege with this keyboard

    Great Gaming Keyboard

T he Logitech G910 is a great gaming keyboard. I find that the keys are responsive and excellent just for normal typing in addition to using it for gaming. This is the Second one in the house. When we set up a new computer for my son, he tried other keyboards but didn’t like the feel compared to my G910 so we purchased one for his computer. The Software is why I knocked one star off this otherwise great keyboard. Pros: -Great feel without having to look at the keys. -Very responsive -Dedicated audio buttons. -Button to lock on the Windows key so you don’t pop up the start menu in the middle of a game. -I really like that you can set the color of the keys different colors based on the game or program you are in running. -Additional G1 – G9 buttons, you can have them set up to launch some common apps like the calculator, password wallet program, email program, Visual Studio or you can set them up to do key combos like copy, cut and paste. -Volume Control is a scroll wheel which makes it easy to turn up/down the volume without looking at the keyboard. -Switch to shut off the backlighting when the computer is on but not in use. (more on this in cons) -Two-year warranty! Cons: -The software sometimes glitches and you have to go into and “enable per profile backlighting” to get your specific Default keyboard profile working again. -Could use more special effect modes. -Program Profiles could be easier to manage. -On my first G910, some of the blue LEDs on a few keys faded to the point where you could barely tell that the blue was lit. example if you selected purple for the whole keyboard, those select keys would be red while the rest were purple. This is an issue of RGB LED and not specific to just Logitech’s RGB keyboards. (The keyboard was about 20 months old when I contacted Logitech and after jumping through there diagnostic hoops the replaced it) I now shut the back light off when I am done using the computer to prevent this on the replacement keyboard.

Great Keyboard for Gaming and Typing

I absolutely love this keyboard. I also have the G710 but the noise the keys made was very loud. I like mechanical keyboards in general, but I haven't found one that sounds like this because of the Romer G switches. I'm in college right now and have to type a lot of lab reports. I like typing on a mechanical keyboard because I think it's more comfortable, and the sound this keyboard makes is great. The RGB lighting is also pretty lit. Also, the dock at the end of the keyboard makes a great stand for your phone if you like to work on the computer while video messaging friends or relatives. This keyboard has been put to great use with a lot of my games like elder scrolls online and battlefield 1.

I read another review saying that the "clicking" of this keyboard was amazing. I didn't know quite what he meant until i bought mine. I get it now, just the feel of the way the keys press is worth it alone for me. You can adjust the light's to specific zones or turn them off all together if it's too off-putting. The only downside i can say is the height of this keyboard. It's much healthier for your wrists to be flatter, and this will definitely put them at an odd angle. I plan on making a custom depression in my desk to make it lower on my desk and at a more natural position, that's how much i love this keyboard.

Upgrading from a $20 dollar keyboard. The Logitech G910 is awesome! It's not perfect, and I'm not fully used to it yet but it feels great. The keys are clicky and make a satisfying click noise. The lights are cool and the macro keys are useful.

I was interested in this keyboard for a while finally caught it on sale and have been pleased with it. This keyboard offers a ton options that can be customized. Having different configuration for games is great although it can be time consuming to get them set up. The keys have a nice feel to them. The RGBs have a high brightness level. My two cons would be no USB passthrough and rather have a soft wrist rest instead of plastic. It was easier to over look my cons at the price I paid.

Had been looking at the g910 Spar, but hated the keys and wrist rest..price was also high. The Spectrum is the same keyboard with proper romer-g keys and a comfy wrist rest and at half the price. I adore this keyboard and it is such a pleasure to type on. Also love that it integrates with my other logitech RGB products.

Been eyeing this keyboard for a while. I gotta say, the mechanical feel of this is very satisfying. Just the right amount of clickyness with the responsiveness to match. The customization of the lighting is killer. Especially when switching between apps. Programmed a keyboard color layout for my main desktop, one for Premiere Pro, and other custom configs for games, and it switches the lighting and the functions seamlessly when switching apps. The ARX dock is pretty nice too for your phone. There were some downsides to this I ran into. First off is the ARX app needs a freakin update! Although it works fine, Logitech hasn't updated the app in years! So it looks dated and lacks functionality. Another thing is the palm rest. It was fine at first, but use for long periods of time got the base of my palms sore from lack of support. Guess thats the drawback of having a cool looking hightech bulky keyboard vs getting one with a slimmer form factor. Last is the finish. Althought the matte finish on the keyboard is very nice and sleek, I did notice that it attracted finger prints. Mainly the natural oils from your finger would smudge on the finish and is pretty hard to clean and make it look back to new. But other than those minor things, I love it and would totally recommend this for anyone who wants a keyboard thats gots some body, RGB goodness, and great integrated macro programming functionality amongst many apps!

I haven't had a mechanical keyboard since the IBM Selectric back in the 80s. This feels nice to type on though I wish it had just a little more resistance. I'm certain it's fast for gaming - but for typing my fingers register multiple keys next to each other often. After a few weeks I am getting very used to it for typing. It is flawless in gaming. Great software to program the macros and key LEDs too. Highly recommend this one.

I have seizures and nerve damage in my hands, so I was looking for a mechanical keyboard so my hands can feel the keys as I am typing. A Best Buy sales associate recommended this to me. It is ready to set up. The different colors can be put on pause, there are a zillion color combinations that you can come up with. I bought this just for everyday typing, but our son who is a gamer loves it because you can do so much with it.

I do not play PC games, but I’m a fast typer, and I’m particular about the spacing and feel of my keyboards. I love the feel of the keys on the G910, and that you can customize the backlighting. I also like that the G1 key is not right next to the ESC key, which gets used frequently in Microsoft shortcuts. I tried a G613 first, but returned it because of the location of the G function keys.

Okay look, I used to hate mechanical keyboards. The super clicky ones always annoyed me. I was in Best Buy one day, saw this keyboard and couldn't resist checking it out. I tested out the keys and afterwards couldn't stop thinking that I'd probably really like this keyboard. Took the plunge and haven't looked back. Even if I weren't able to change the backlights it wouldn't even matter - this keyboard types so smooth. I had to get a second one for my office at work I loved my original one so much. If you're looking to buy a gaming keyboard, this is it. The software has a lot of extra features, but the keys speak for themselves. I'm really glad I bought this keyboard.

Had to get a new keyboard due to my past one having two broken keys (cat spilled water on it), and I've been thoroughly impressed with this for how long I've been using it. It's just pretty good quality for everything with it, has a lot of features I often use (volume dial and media pause/play), and feel pretty durable. Last bit might not be necessary for some people, but I'd rather not have a super light and thin keyboard.

I love the keyboard! I am a fan of the Romer G Switches. I prefer them to the MX speed. I do like the silent a little more. I recommend trying the different switches. Much is personal taste. Two things keep this from a five star. The big one is no USB pass through. Really ... a $100 something gaming keyboard with no pass through? The kicker is it has a dock for a phone that can't be charged or synced. Easy enough to run a hub, but more stuff. Just seems sort sighted, The other thing is there is no way this keyboard is able to do 16.8 million colors. There is no yellow. It shows as green There is no white it is blue, The color it can produce are great and bright. Software is very good. Easy to use and straight forward. Syncs with my other Logetech products and one piece, of software. Does have presets for games. Not a lot, but works well for the few there is. I really like typing on this keyboard. I was using a rely nice brown switch keyboard. Just left my hands fatigued. I use a membrane at work and there is less of a transition to this keyboard. I love it even with the few short comings.

This is the best keyboard I have ever owned, and I worked with computers for a very long time. The feel of the keys are perfect and the colors help with identifying hot keys. Great for a flying simulation where you use a lot of hot keys, would be perfect for video editing too. The colors are not just for looks, but are really useful.
