Best auto brew coffee maker. Easy to use and to set up automatic timer. Great looking coffeemaker! The coffee tastes delicious and is nice and hot! Great price!

This unit is a welcome replacement for our old coffeemaker. We greatly appreciate how easy it is to use and keep clean, and we've noticed an improvement in the quality of our morning coffee! It's quieter, too!

Love LOVE Love this machine!!! OMG!!! I have been using a coffee press for years, until it went from 1-2 people drinking coffee, to 4. This is the perfect size for guests and filling coffee mugs. There's even a setting for a small pot! Definitely NOT going back to the press

Very good coffee maker and easy to program. Only drawback would be empting water into the machine as the lid doesn’t go back far enough to empty the coffee pot into water chamber.

Best tasting coffee everytime! I've tried a couple of different coffee makers and this one has been worth it.
It's basic enough to use, but still has plenty of features to make my morning coffee more enjoyable. My favorites are being able to adjust the coffee temperature and also, being able to grab coffee mid-brew without the coffee spilling out still.

This is the second one I have bought. The first lasted 8 years! There is nothing updated or changed in this model. But it’s a workhorse and makes vey good coffee.

I love this coffee maker. I have had one for many years and it finally died. We drink a lot of coffee and this is the only 14 cup pot I have found. It makes great coffee, easy to use, and it has setting that adapt to people's needs.

Probably the best coffee maker I ever bought. For some reason and I don't know why the coffee just seems to have a better taste than other coffee makers that I've used.
Great buy and great price.

Good looking, easy to use, makes very good coffee. Carafe is comfortable to hold and pours well without dripping. I was surprised when I opened the box that "silver" meant plastic, not stainless steel, so we'll have to see over time how durable the housing is.

This coffee maker is pretty solid. Run it every morning. Easy setup, and reliable like most Cuisinart products. I would recommend this for every day use, its also not super large. So if you live in a tight space, it should easily fit a 1ftx1ft space, and at least a spot thats 2ft tall (i say 2ft because of the steam/moisture). The mesh coffee filter is a nice addition and easy to clean for the folks who are more environmentally savvy. If you reuse coffee grounds for the garden, i recommend a plastic spoon to scrape em out.
Overall, i absolutely would recommend this. The price is a *bit* steeper than I'd like, but it was worth it, overall.

At this writing, we've been using it for about 3 weeks. Solid, reliable coffee maker. Easy to clean the "gold" filter and the pot after each use. Coffe tastes as good, or better, than previous Mr. Coffee brand. One think I did'nt fully realize: it has a charcoal filter in the water tank and it should be replaced from time to time. Right now that's an added cost of around .75 to a dollar every month. I gave the 4 stars because I haven't really used this long enough to be sure of an "excellent" rating.

Pros:
It brews good tasting coffee quite sufficiently, doesn't take up a lot of counter space, has a multi temperature control that works (I like my coffee hot) and I find the unit is pretty pretty easy to clean.
Cons:
Carafe could be made a bit better with the rim so that it empties liquid more easily and completely.
CUISINART really needs to put a dimmer on the clock/timer's blue backlight.
It's okay during daylight but at nighttime it is way, way too bright. Lights up the whole kitchen at night.

This is a little long, but my full love for this maker is explained. We had a Cuisinart coffee maker for about 10 years and it started going out. We used it for the standard quick morning cup, but we had become more of coffee connoisseurs over the years enjoying pour over coffees and local artisan roasted whole beans. I also learned how to make espresso and latte art. So after 10 years with the old Cuisinart we wanted to upgrade. Get a fancy coffee maker that was supposed to mimic a barista pour over. We bought the OXO Brain (since we couldn't financially justify a $325 Technivorm Moccamaster), and we excitedly tried a cup. IT WAS HORRIBLE. Tasted just like plastic smells. I cleaned the machine 10 brews through with vinegar/water, baking soda/water, plain water, and even rubbed everything down with rubbing alcohol as suggested by a coffee article online. Less plastic taste, but still horrible. We finally admitted defeat on our $200 pour over Barista machine, and decided to give a new Cuisinart a chance. We spent under $100, brewed one vinegar/water brew and 2 water brews just to clean everything out. We put the charcoal filter in, ground our expensive whole beans, put it on bold setting to slow extraction down a little, pressed start and hoped and prayed. At the first sip we literally said Mmmmmmmm to each other. We could taste our complex chocolate/tobacco sweet coffee and it didn't taste over or under extracted. We were shocked and thrilled at the same time. So more money doesn't always mean a better machine. This isn't a state of the art, sleek, sexy machine, but I'll take a correctly, non plastic tasting cup of coffee over looks anyday. Cuisinart is sort of the "under appreciated, less attractive sister" that most coffee snobs might overlook. I say take a second look, there's more to her.
I would recommend this to a friend

I haven't had a drop coffee maker in years, but was ready for the convenience of a programmable maker. Took a few tries to get the grind and measurement down. This is easy to use and clean. So far a fan.
