Bought the 950 as a replacement for my 10 year old Harmony 900. Using the Harmony web site app, the set up was quick and easy...settings from the old remote for my 9 connected devices were quickly transferred to the 950. While it has been a bit of a learning curve getting used to the new remote (after having used to the old remote for 10+ years) I've quickly learned to appreciate the increased functionality of the 950 and ease of use. If you are looking for a universal remote that is easy to set up, easy to use (after a bit of a learning curve) but very functional, this is the one to try!

This Logitech 950 Harmony remote was easy to set up on my windows 10 pc. Works with my Att U-verse cable box, Vizio TV, Lg Sound bar and Xbox one. It’s nice to hit one button and turn on my entertainment center versus looking for the 5 remotes I used to use. The overall feel of the remote meaning the housing feels very well made feels good in the hand and quality built & it’s solid. functions as advertised. Overall this remote functions well.

Replaced my Harmony 880 with this 950 after buying all new tv/audio equipment. Love it. Does everything I throw at it. Activities are a snap with the new software. Only had to adjust one delay timing from default up a little higher for my Favorites Channels on my Uverse dvr. Highly recommend it.

Buttons stopped responding on my old remote and needed a replacement. Device info transferred seamlessly without issue. Now that I've used it, I don't like the button size/layout as much. Play and pause are too small. The guide and info button are now at the bottom of the remote, which I use a lot with Tivo. Still trying to get used to using this remote without looking at it, which is proving difficult since I still have another Harmony One remote that I use in another rooom

I have had several Logitech Harmony remotes over the years. My previous was the Ultimate One. The thing I didn't like about that one was the placement of the FF and RW buttons above the touch screen... BUT it functioned well. I bought the 950 to use in a second room. I like the layout of the buttons much better with them all below the touch screen. There is a known issue with this remote that Logitech has still not fixed. It will not show you a full charge indicator. The remote ALWAYS shows as "charging" while in the charger..never fully charged. I also have to remove and reinsert into the charger to get the battery indicator to move at all. I have spent quite some time with Logitech to attempt to fix...I also think Logitech harmony remotes are extremely overpriced $250 retail for an IR programmable universal remote?? (I did get this one on sale) With all that said, I like the functionality of the remote and it works well with all my components.

I already own this remote for my Home Theatre, so I know it’s capabilities, I have a modest 5.1 system in my bedroom, I had a very old harmony remote that was wearing out, so I decided I wanted the 950 for my bedroom as well, after setting it up , it’s works great, very happy with my purchase.

I've had several Logitech universal remotes. Setup is great. It interfaces with your computer and it is easy to configure. I with the battery lasted longer. The other I had used AA batteries and lasted months. This one doesn't last more than a week or so. I can't leave it in the charger because my pets will knock it off the charger so I keep the charger where they can't get to, not by the couch. I have set it in the charger and got the charging light only to come back later and find it hasn't charged

It performs largely as you would expect a Logitech remote to perform, which is to say overall very well. The app to program everything is fairly intuitive. Most buttons have two modes, a quick press and a hold, effectively doubling the number of programmable buttons. Therein lies my one complaint, though. The app allows you to reprogram the default quick press behavior for the Guide and Back buttons, but as far as I can tell, it doesn't take. Thankfully there's no default for the hold behavior, so that's an easy enough workaround, but it takes some getting used to.

I like the easy to use buttons. Don't have to press the buttons hard for each function. (on Harmony 700 remote the buttons had to be pressed hard to get function to respond) Have to be careful with the touch screen. It's too easy to press the wrong function. When on the devices screen (on a specific device) I don't like at the bottom of the touch screen their is an edit function. It is too easy to hit with out realizing it. I wish their was a way to lock it, or hide it.

    Connects to Everything

The remote works pretty well. I’d say it lags a bit when selecting an activity. It will sometimes not turn on each device when selecting the certain activity you set up, but only if you’re not pointing the remote at said device. They say if you get the hub, it’ll connect anywhere in the house without “pointing” but nevertheless, it works pretty well. Set up was simple, but having to connect to your laptop to download the software was eh. In my head, an universal remote should be able to use the actual remote to connect the devices similar to the way you connect using your default remote they give you with your cable provider.

Works well and pairs with many home theater devices. Install an app on your computer and connect the 950 via it's included cord. You can then set up the 950 by choosing from a long list of manufacturers and components and providers like Dish, Direct TV, cable operators, etc. Only gripe I have is that the touch screen may jump from activities to devices by a random touch of the screen. Good backlight on the control buttons. This does not control other devices in the home such as lighting, window curtains, etc. You need the next model up for that.

I was very hesitant to spend $200 on a mere remote. I can't believe I'm saying this but it has made things easier. A universal remote can achieve some items but this takes the cake and covers every device for me. I love being able to customize activities so switching between my blu-ray, DVR, Chromecast, Amazon Fire Stick is simple one click. It does take a little bit of work to configure the device and remember what you configure on the four custom buttons - but it's worth it. The charging stand is awesome. And if the battery is too low, I can keep it on the charging stand and have the back IR port point to my entertainment center and it'll still do what I'm requesting it to do. How it feels in your hand is pretty good. It's definitely bottom heavy so one handed operation on the touch screen might cause you to drop it (haven't dropped it yet but am terrified to). Will I purchase another in the future? Possibly yes - maybe a cheaper model since it's still a bit pricey, in my opinion. But Logitech makes a pretty solid product.

I purchased the Harmony 950 after purchasing a new TV as my old Harmony remote was no longer supported, therefore no more updates for new hardware. Easy to program but a couple of things that keep it from being great. 1) Touchscreen leaves finger prints and isn't very good with Apple TV. 2) Use the channel up/down button on the cable box is much slower than the remote that is provided by Spectrum. Overall, I pleased with this purchase and I would recommend to anyone who wants an easy programmable remote.

I already had a Harmony Hub that I was using for my entertainment system and I was controlling it with an iPad mini. It worked fine but it was a little cumbersome due to its size. I purchased the Harmony 950 and it paired right up to the hub by following the instructions on the My Harmony app. All my activities, devices and favorites copied over to the 950 so I didn't have to re-enter everything. I customized a few buttons on the 950 and it's working great. Some say that the touch screen is too sensitive but I added the programmable delay timer so you have to hold the touch screen buttons for 1/2 second before they respond. Problem solved.
